Comfortable room, good mattress, friendly front staff, location.

Nice warm welcome from the staff. The rooms were clean beds were comfortable. The bar area was peaceful and had a good range of food and drink options.The only down side was the squeaky floor in the corridor which was out side our door , maybe a new floor board would help.

Great location, plenty of parking. Room was clean and comfortable.

It’s a bit noisy! The plumbing is loud when someone in another room flushes a toilet or turns on a tap and the restaurant toilets were a few doors along and the hand dryer is loud!

Great quiet location, bar was open until late. Room service was good.

The fact the TV didn’t work properly. No smart TV so we had to buy a fire stick which took us 2.5 hours to set up. The tvs are old and slow. Wouldn’t stay again purely because there is no smart tv.

The staff were so friendly and helpful! They made our stay so much more enjoyable and comfortable. In particular, Sarah and Sandy. The food was also very nice! We will be back again.

Overflowing ashtray outside the front door, with empty cup. Then a dirty spoon in room. Heater made noises. Reception staff dealt with these, as you would expect. But where is the management that should ensure these basic things don't happen? I guess this chain relies on reception staff, with no assigned person as Manager. Stilton and garlic mushrooms were poor. The waiter announced them as Creamy Mushrooms. When I queried, he wasn't aware of difference. No training. Breakfast was Eggs Royal. I think there should be an e at end. A cheap muffin, stake. One egg overcooked. Hollandaise sauce, in a side dish the first time I have not had it poured over eggs, was from a bottle. Revolting. The free coffee was poor. I would have had to pay for fresh coffee! If I stayed there all week this fault finding would continue. I am an ex Financial Controller for a Michelin star chain. I know what I am talking about. Looking at other reviews you seem you have replied with platitudes. Oh, another dirty ashtray was in the same place when I left. No management, as I said .

Breakfast was fantastic, room was spacious and comfortable. Had a great night's sleep can't fault at all!

Poor check in experience - no details of breakfast given, not obvious that the man sat at the desk worked there. Floor boards were so creaky in our room that we slept terribly because everytime one person got up for a drink or toilet, it was incredibly loud. Bathroom floor tiles cracked and shabby, room on main road and windows are not looked after so let every sound and cold air in. The whole room was in desperate need of refurb

Great stay , good sized bedrooms perhaps a little dated but very comfortable beds , safe went that extra mile very welcoming , great manager , excellent value for the money paid including breakfast

The bedrooms were perhaps a little tired like the throws over the beds were well worn and need replacing also the hot air heating in my room did not work properly but overall happy with my stay

Very noisey room being kept awake from 02:30 by other guests. Also very poor service in the restaurant

Great location for visiting friends and family over Christmas. Clean and tidy, very friendly staff, loved the complimentary toiletries in the bathroom.

Location near to the airport. Ample parking and nice restaurant for evening meal. Good sized room and bathroom.

Floor boards creaked as you walked on them so we disturbed each other going to the toilet in the night. Floor in bathroom was not cleaned up to the wall.
