Cons -
- No. Slightly inconvenient to take a ferry, but worth it!
- The room could have been more soundproofed. The ferry and traffic start a little early in the morning
- The decor and furnishings are a little tired. It was a bit of a hassle to get our things up to our second floor room.

The room was very cosy. Staff were very friendly. Breakfast was great.
The inn is quite old and has a rustic flair to it. It is situated directly on the banks of the inner seas of the west coast of Scotland and right in front of the Corran ferry. I thought it was going to be busier or louder but it’s just the sort of tucked away place I love. The room was quite spacious, a bit old-fashioned, the bathroom a bit small but wanted for nothing. The staff were very kind and dinner at the inn was hearty and delicious.
Friendly staff, Great food, and location from ferry.
Nice room, lovely location, friendly staff and great food
Great location and facility. Staff were friendly and the food was great.
The staff was very friendly and the food was good. The view from the room was excellent
The room could have been more soundproofed. The ferry and traffic start a little early in the morning
The Staff were brilliant the room was huge. Bed was comfy. The Ferry to come across was easy to sort and made the journey simple. Just a slight highlight. The meals were amazing particularly the sticky chicken entree.
The location is across from the ferry landing and has a spectacular view. The staff is friendly and helpful. The place has a cozy family feel.
The decor and furnishings are a little tired. It was a bit of a hassle to get our things up to our second floor room.
Beautiful boutique hotel. Great location accessible by ferry..Great food
We couldn't sit for dinner until 8 which not ideal for family but busy night
The view is beautiful from the hotel, and the location is right across the road from the ferry. The pub/restaurant was good for a simple meal. The hotel was quiet after the last ferry at 9:30, and the beds were very comfortable.
Our room, #3 on the ground floor, had a moldy smell that didn’t feel healthy. The breakfast was not a good value; would have preferred a la carte options.
All the staff were very friendly, approachable.Evening meal delicious good choice in the menu.Room as always spotless got ground floor as requested in booking will be back again next year recommend to anyone looking for a quiet holiday with good food and good location
Nothing could not be better
Very friendly family run hôtel.Stayed with our dog Winnie
The staff is super friendly and the restaurant was good. Our room was a nice comfortable size for the four of us.
Location was excellent Staff was courteous Only thing is the extra cost for the ferry which we did not take into account at the time of booking. That should be made clear so that people are aware beforehand what to expect.
The staff insisted having dinner in the bar to which we were very uncomfortable with. They gave a reasonable explanation but we felt that they could have done better to accommodate 4 people at a different table.
Location was good as we needed a convenient place between major stops while traveling through Scotland. It was quiet and we enjoyed an evening walk along the water.
Small but comfortable room. It was great that our room was on the ground floor and looked out onto the loch. There was an amazing view of the sunrise in the morning. It was great to have a restaurant on site and that parking was provided. The ferry is right in front of the hotel and departs regularly which was very convenient.
Very authentic and rural. The place is isolated by ferry boat, and has a pub. The dinner in the pub was good, and the Inn staff did contact in advance since you need to book a table. The room is modest and can accommodate 4.
The reception opened only at 4 pm, and no one was there before. The breakfast was not much. The price is a bit expensive.
locationview was lovely
cramped quarters. tiny shower
