Clean room and nice breakfast!!
It was clean, modern and updated. Staff were nice, located on the main road near plenty of restaurants. My only issue was how late check in is.

Clean bathroom, comfortable bed. Helpful staff given what they have to work with. For a one night stop it wasn't bad.
The front desk clerk came to help me with the TV remote that wasn’t working properly. While we did not get it to work, I appreciated the attempt.

Nice hotel and polite and helpful staff. It sports a small lounge area where you can get burgers, or the like if you dont want to go back out searching. This hotel is out in the plains section of Colorado and the staff takes pride in it. Comfortable.

Bed was comfortable.
Helpful staff. The front desk employee stated he only arrived the day before; however, he was very helpful and quickly gave us a different room when ours did not have a working sink. All rooms were non-smoking and our room smelled nice. Fair price.
This Hotel is Being Renovated at this time. Hotel employee is absolutely wonderful. The price was unreal! The bed was great to sleep on. I love the new tile in the bathrooms, plenty of space in the rooms and the coffee was hot every morning! Great Place

Top Tips
- Book your hotel in Lamar 4-6 weeks before events like the July Lamar Daze festival to avoid 20-30% price hikes and save 15-25% over peak-day rates. Booking early increases your choice of available rooms, and popular chains often fill quickly during festivals.
- Expect total taxes and fees of 15-20% on your Lamar hotel bill, which covers a 10.7% state sales tax plus an additional 4-9% local occupancy tax. Confirm all charges at booking or check-in to avoid surprises.
- For greater safety, select hotels located 0.5-1 mile from downtown Lamar, where crime rates are 20-30% lower than the outskirts. Many branded hotels in this zone provide added security features and 24-hour front desk service.
- Check Wi-Fi speeds before booking if you plan to work remotely; standard hotel speeds in Lamar are 10-25 Mbps, which may be too low for uninterrupted video calls. Ask about business centers or internet upgrades if reliable service is essential.
- Request an air-conditioned room for summer stays, as daytime temperatures in Lamar average 90-100°F (32-38°C) from June through August. Confirm that both your room and shared spaces like the fitness center offer climate control for comfort.
