The Factor's Inn & Factor's Cottage

The room is cosy and beautiful furnished. There are two bathrooms which is convenient to family stay. Hope to come again!

Actually nothing

The location was great. The rooms were clean and big.Very convenient location. All the points in Fort Williams were at 15 min driving location.

Check-in was at the castle instead of where the rooms are. It was informed to me so I was aware about it. However this can be made more easy by checking at the hotel itself.

Location, comfortable and facilities

It was a spacious room with a nice seating area. Very comfortable bed. Room filled with plenty of light as lots of windows but also good blinds for sleeping.

Expected breakfast was included but no breakfast available unless you paid at Castle

The location is stunning. The room, the bed, the bathroom, all top notch and luxurious. I highly recommend Factors Inn. I would love to stay here again.

Very clean, had a bath, nice setting. Would recommend.

Nowhere close to eat and drink at a reasonable price. We could have gone to the castle but that was way over our budget.

Have to say we didn't appreciate the need to check in at the castle and then drop off room keys there the following morning. Can you not offer that service at the Inn?

Husband wanted to stay above a Pub. Loved the Bartender she was very friendly.

Nice and comfortable room, close to Fort William, in a very quiet area

The check in must be done at Inverlochy Castle which is not far but you have to drive there just to bring and return the keys, when there is a pub or bar at the cottage ground floor. 38 Pounds per person for breakfast is quite a lot, it would be a plus to offer the possibility of having breakfast there at a reasonable price.

Surroundings of the facilities

There was no reception in the building and the check-in had to be done at the castle. Not enough information to get to the inn or to the castle to get the room keys. Small and old-fashioned room with trashy decoration. Blinds did not close completely. The room was not soundproofed: high noise levels in the hallway and adjacent rooms.Totally overpriced.

Obviously the setting! In the grounds of Inverlochy Castle Hotel, spectacular countryside. Rooms spacious and super comfortable.The factor's Inn Country Pub was located in the same building as apartments and offered an excellent dinner with a limited menu.

We had to go up to the castle to collect the keys, and then go back and drop them off in the morning. Not sure why we could not have picked them up from the pub (where the room was) - we were very underdressed for the castle!

Information provided was inaccurate - I was told check out was at 10:00 and it was 11:00. I was told it had no bar, restaurant or public area but there was a bar serving food in the same building.

The old-world charm of the place is lovely. The free tea and coffee in the room is a mice touch.

The location is not very good. This is very overpriced for what you get.
