Pros +
- The staff and restaurant
- The service was amazing! The staff anticipates your needs before you have to ask, but they are never intrusive. We will definitely be back. I highly recommend this beautifully situated castle hotel. It could not be better!
- Location, ambiance, food, the drawing, and snooker rooms along with an interesting library, the grounds, pond, walking paths, tennis and walled garden. Tranquility. Just an excellent place. WiFi was highly appreciated.
Cons -
- Advertising said â∠Âairport shuttle ââÂ¬à  which was completely false. There was no shuttle. The hotel was 2 hours from the airport and at the last minute we had to rent a car and check out a day early to make a 6am flight.
- Temperature control poor. Very hot when we arrived; could only cool down by turning off all heat registers. The shower head is way too large for a small shower stall and should not be an overhead. A table and chair for a computer would be nice.
- Needs air conditioning or window screens.
