Cons -
- There was no internet in the cottage, I texted the lady from the reception the moment we arrived, she didn't respond till the next day. Then she sent me again the password which we already had. My partner went to see her next day and explained the internet is not working, she said the internet is working, they pay a lot of money for us and there is probably an issue with our devises. We kept trying but the internet was not working. I tried to call the reception few times, no one was responding or return sign my calls. On the day before we were leaving they finally sent an engineer to fix the internet, he spent 2 hours in the cottage and finally fixed it. The lady from the reception was with him when he arrived. She was arrogant and she said to me "DO YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT I AM SAYING" as if I don't speak English. We are not born in UK and we do have an accent, but we've been living in UK for 20 years. We speak very good English and having this type of behaviour towards us was really humiliating and upsetting. There was no apologies for the fact that we didn't have internet for 2 days. The attitude of the staff was not professional at all, it made us feel unwelcome.
- Theer was a large metal staircase going up to the room. This could be a health hazard if the weather was icy and also an older person may struggle to get up the stairs as quite steep.
- Noisy outside as car park in front of bedroom

Lovely, comfortable room with great character. Friendly welcoming staff. Beautiful breakfast. Great central location.
Nice location. Nice and clean and warm.
Was a very comfortable and very clean room with good sized bathroom. Restaurant was lovely and food was superb. Staff very very friendly and accommodating.

Comfortable with clean sheets and towels.Breakfast was lovely
Noisy outside as car park in front of bedroom
Location Cosy roomFriendly staff
It was convenient to where I was visiting
The exterior stairs to the room were very steep and metal. The bed was uncomfortable.
Lovely staff, accommodating to our pet, clean room, modern bathroom facilities
Door didn’t shut properly unless locked, room was very hot with the window very difficult to open
Fantastic people who run it, so thoughtful and obliging. The apartment is just great, had everything you could require, and within walking distance of Tamworth and its surrounds ie castle 5 minute walk, major shops 10 minute walk
Only downside was that we felt the cold a little bit and the heating was on a timer that we had no control over, getting up at 5am with no heating was a challenge
All good in general. Nice location. Excellent friendly staff.
No restaurant Mondays and Tuesdays.
Friendly staff, beautiful and clean accommodation.
Beautiful, warm and cosy room in a beautiful building. The restaurant was cosy and the staff were so friendly and welcoming.
Nice food pleasant staff comfortable
Too much red tape and email password confusion
There were no meals available, just a bar.
I felt like I was staying a backyard room. The pictures do not accurately convey the type of accommodation. Had I known it was just a backyard with rooms off a parking lot, I would never have booked there. Very misleading. I wont be back.
The team at The Peel were all absolutely lovely, and our room had some lovely features like wooden beams, and was a good size to stay for a couple of nights. Breakfast was lovely (and is included if you book directly with The Peel) and we enjoyed having a pint in the pub downstairs the night we arrived. Parking was sufficient for the number of rooms, and there a few nice restaurants and bars nearby if you are staying for a bit.
Nothing to complain about, but it was also just a nice pub hotel, nothing particularly extraordinary!
Lovely warm room. Comfy bed. Lovely bathroom. Good breakfast.
Air conditioning had no remote and no control over heating, but as we are coming towards colder weather is know how we like it to be.
The bedroom was superb with the beautiful beams. The bed was super comfortable. We had instant coffee and coffee maker.
