Bell rang for last orders and as residents, we were unable to get another drink.

We stay here when we visit Tamworth location good breakfast excellent value for money

Great location as we went a spa and a restaurant within 10 minutes drive, the room was small but cosy and do the job. Even tho it was in a pub it still felt like a hotel stay over. We couldn’t sit down for breakfast in the morning as we had somehow re to be and the staff were great they managed to get us a breakfast and coffee to takeaway! Everything was straight forward from when we got there!

The only thing I would say that is negative as there was a bit of a bad smell in the room think it was the grids it came from the bathroom like a sewer smell but we just shut the door ?

Friendly staff, exceptional food, comfortable room

Reception at the very busy bar, we waited ages with luggage to be checked in. Room clean enough - loo was dirty though

Easy to book in, room was as described and in very good order. The price was very competitive. Breakfast was great, plentiful and hot.

Overall a very good visit.

The Tamworth arms was very clean the food excellent and the staff very helpful and friendly very good value for money anytime I am in the area I will definitely use this place

Bed was smaller then we are used to and the socket the air con was plugged into didn’t work so we spent ages trying to get it to work until we realised

We didn't expect to have to go outside to get to our room. Made worse as it was pouring with rain constantly!

The restaurant is fantastic. The food and staff are excellent.

Bed needs replacing. You can feel springs on the one I had.

Lovely old pub, great location, room was fine and we really enjoyed ourselves. Cannot recommend the evening meal we had highly enough delicious curries (and I don’t like curry so that says it all!) can’t wait to come back again.

The only issue was that the room was freezing upon entry despite us checking in 2 hours prior, no one thought to warm the room for when we accessed the room

Trying to find the car park was only negative

The hotel was ideally located for the town centre and the food we had in the evening was some of the best Indian I have eaten in a while. Our room was comfortable with the typical amenities you expect to find. A nice touch was the extra tea and biscuits in the room.

The way in to the rooms was unclear, you had to walk right through the pub with your luggage to check in at the bar which was a bit awkward and the staff were a bit abrupt and not particularly friendly.

Staff and their services were fabulous! Food was amazing too! Everything freshly made!

The bathroom was filthy! room was very dusty. and a fact ,that I came with a 7year old little boy and I couldn’t get him showered!

We stayed in an outside room facing the car park and it was quiet. Breakfast was great. Room was warm, clean and well presented.Overall, good value for money.

Our first room wasn’t warm when we got there, the heating was electric so we had to wait for it to get warm. The room couldn’t be locked so we were shown to another room and that room was also cold so we started the heating process again.We ate dinner at the property, we both had prawn and salmon linguine however the pasta tasted as though it hadn’t been seasoned during cooking, so I left most of mine, my wife left a lot of hers as well.I did explain to the young waiter why we hadn’t finished our meal but we had no response from anyone about this.The breakfast was lovely cooked well and the staff very attentive asking us was everything ok etc
