    Pros +

    • The room was clean, warm and very comfortble. The lady at chek in was delightful.
    • Location was ok.
    • The hotel was clean and nicely appointed. Staff were helpful. We had to get out of our room earlier than most hotels (9.30am) There is no food available in this hotel and we were advised to go to the golf shop for breakfast. It's expensive for room only for one person and one night.

    Cons -

    • There was a little road noise. A small thing but the handle kept falling off the dresser draw.
    • The heating was not on during the night and in the morning no hot water. When you book shows some pictures that are not from the room you get. Light in the room was terrible.
    • No breakfast on site and the golf shop is just a wooden hut with a limited menu.

Check in was simple, but this isn't a hotel its a bunk house, albeit clean and in a nice setting but I certainly won't be booking it again

The place was soulless, its just a series of bedrooms.

The road leading away from the property

Room was so dated and bed sheets were past their best. Grubby and over washed Tv was a joke. So small you couldn’t watch it. Shower only ran look warm !!!!! Awful shower Noisy road outside Don’t stop here its disgusting

Located in heart of Lickey Hills an area of natural beauty favoured as a place to live by premiership/international footballers. and other high earners. Excellent local pubs and restaurants a short distance away. Next door to long 18 hole golf course. Not far from M5 or M42 junctions.

Could do with a little updating in tech. Wi Fi adequate. TV adequate but could be improved. No USB charging.

Comfortable nights sleep, very quiet and the golf course is great for a morning run.

Needs a lot of updating and too many communal items in the room such as throw cushions, blankets, thick pile rugs that made it feel less clean. The cafe recommended for breakfast next door opens too late for people traveling for work.

I have stayed at this hotel on numerous occasions due to my job in Birmingham. The staff are always welcoming and kind, the rooms are always amazing and comfortable and value for money. Parking is a bonus as I often finish work late and am glad to be able to park with ease and relax in my room. Would highly recommend ☺️

No dislikes, the WiFi in some rooms is better than others but that may be down to the location of some of the rooms but the views make up for that.

    Very clean, welcoming and homeley.

Free breakfast wasn’t offered but website said otherwise and I paid for a family room as was nothing left although there were only 2 of us.

Great room, with easy parking in a lovely location.

It was a very cold day and the radiators were turned off in my room when I arrived, so that was a bit of a suprise, but soon got warm after turning them on.

We stayed here with several family members for my mother's funeral. Not only were the rooms and staff great, but we held the wake there too and it was fabulous

This is an excellent little hotel with really high quality and spacious rooms, and always a very friendly welcome.

The only thing that stops this being a perfect visit is the erratic nature of the hot water in the shower, sometimes it splutters, sometimes it runs out and sometimes it goes cold. Hopefully it can get sorted as the place is perfect in every other way.

    9DavidPosted on: 12-5-2024

Very comfortable, large clean rooms and in great location

    9HenryPosted on: 12-2-2024

Always an exceptionally friendly welcome. Great rooms and perfect positioning for transport links and running.

The water was a bit off this time - shower slowed to a dribble before I was finished - hopefully just a one off as hasn't happened before.

Always a very warm welcome here. The room I had this time was really big and very comfortable. Superb value for money.

Tiny point, but just worth mentioning; the showerhead was pretty grimy, so the water sprays off at funny angles. Could probably do with a clean. But that excepted, this was a fantastic place to stay.
