Bromsgrove Hotel

I have stayed at the hotel several times now and my recent stay was really bad .Our room was miles away from reception and not on the ground floor as requested.The shower was leaking and seriously low pressure .Only 2 pillows with no spares and no spare towels When we checked in the door was open and the TV left on

The room as a whole was very disappointing

The staff were pleasant and helpful.

Exceptionally tired and in desperate need of basic maintenance and redecorating.

Large clean rooms

Very cold in the communal areas Lacking staff a few doing everything.

Very nice staff good food nice pool big room and tv nice coffee machine an tea

Shower leaked a bit though was still warm overall

The staff are extremely helpful and friendly the food superb.

Rooms poor cleanliness in the hotel poor. Bar closes randomly.Rooms not cleaned daily. Road surface into hotel and car park in poor condition and generally untidy. Hotel in desperate need of makeover inside and out.

Nice hotel with a lovely reception. Would stay again

Had a few loud guests during our stay unfortunately so didn't manage a good night's sleep.

People walking through in swimsuits when having a drink and food at the bar Pillows on the bed felt like they had rocks in thenAlso room very dark and also the same in restaurant when having breakfast

Member of bar staff is very rude and abrupt let's the rest of the staff down

But lots of people living here awaiting social housing and we seen. People collecting drugs from outside of hotel as we arrived very disappointed when you book your hotel room you should be told there are people living in this hotel walking around shouting drunk and walking around in PJ‘s it’s not really. I’m reading when you pay to stay there and you’ve got riffraff staying there.

Very unclean when we got there , bed smelled musky and very itchy , room smelled musky and bathroom was disgusting. Even though didn’t get refund I wouldn’t suggest staying here if you want a comfortable stay

Room was a very good size.

Really needs updating. Very old fashioned. Should not be called a spa as there was only a pool. The gym was very basic and had to pay extra if wanting to use.

Large room. Excellent leisure facilities. Nice restaurant and excellent meals. Staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them.

We had upgraded to a deluxe room, but this was definitely a size of room upgrade rather than facilities or quality of furnishings.Only suites have King size beds, double beds seem quite small - am not sure this is clear at booking stageParking has to be paid for in addition to the cost of the roomRooms are very dated - cost was high for the quality of the room - we had a lovely view of a roof.Only one pillow per person was providedBed was on a slant - only had three coaters and we had to request something to level the bed out. Postcards were provided promtly. We were told they couldn't possibly change the room until the morning, and we were provided with a matress topper to help the hard matress.Bathroom was dated with some hairs left from cleaning/ previous occupantsToilets are difficult to fully flush throughout the hotelFridge provided was very noisy in the room.If this had been a cheaper stay I wouldn't be so disappointed, but for the price paid for two nights, it was overpriced. We did not stay for the second night, opting to travel home early.Did not visit leisure facilities so cannot comment, but did seem to be a lot of members visiting.

You knew what you were getting. Clean comfortable room, good breakfast. Would definitely stay again!

Cost of breakfast and parking at hotel.

Location and value. It is just off the motorway and very convenient.The staff were excellent throughout the stay.

Music could have been slightly louder in the bar. And the additional parking charge was unnecessary. Should be included.

Very. Comfortable room, a little tired in places but very clean. Towels were huge soft and plenty of them,room was huge

The bed was uncomfortable the tv had a line in the screen

The staff were very plesent and helpful as we had a 5 hour delay from Murcia so our car hire was cancelled which made us very late , I called the hotel a couple of times and this was put as a late check-in reception was very polite and professional we would like to thank Abbie for her help the young lady was amazing and a credit to your hotel she went out of her way to make us welcome thank you .

After our late arrival around 10 30 the bar was closed also the reception area was cold
