We stayed in the house & found the room better than a previous stay in the other part of the hotelThe hotel was quiet.Breakfast was good

The hot and cold water taps separate in toiclet - not great. the light was flickering, had no patiencce to go down and complain

Rooms very clean and funished to a good quality standard. Nice and comfortable throughout the hotel. Staff very helpful and friendly creating a pleasant relaxed atmosphere. Nice breakfast included. Situated within the stunningly beautiful Lickey Country Park. I saw deer, sheep and rabbits hopping around outside my window, plus owls hooting at night. A beautiful part of the country. Hope to stay here again. Would definately host an event here too. Many thanks.

Quiet, clean and the breakfast was great

Great location. Helpful & friendly staff.Room was big & extremely clean. Bed was super comfy.Breakfast was absolutely 'spot on' ?? Help yourself to a variety of fruit, yoghurt, pastries, cereal. An extensive choice of hot food was also available. Fried egg, scrambled egg, bacon, sausage, beans, tomato, hash browns. All was delicious Would definitely stay here again.

Very quiet, great location in Lickey Hills but near all facilities. Good breakfast included.

I wanted to change rooms and this was done without question and dealt with professionally. The hotel dealt with my GF requests. The room was comfy and well equipped.

There was a good deal of noise overnight from the kitchen extraction system so as a light sleeper this was problematic. Although I was signed in as needing a GF breakfast, the restaurant staff didn't seem aware of this and there were no alternative cereals and breakfast items.

Great location, the room was very clean and comfortable. Tea & coffee making facilities in the room. Breakfast was superb!

Although the room was clean, it could do with a slight refurb, although the price does reflect this.Everything else made up for it. There was an 80th birthday party in the function room, my room was situated almost directly above so there was a bit of noise. I did manage to get to sleep, fortunately. Good job I took my Earplugs.

Rooms are tired and dated. Shower area you could see where things are rotting. Shower tray higher up than normal so you nearly fall getting out and I think others have already made that mistake.

I booked the property as I needed a stopover to break up the journey from York, where I had been working, to South Wales where I was going to see a friend. Perfect location as it was just over half way, and right near the M5 and M42 junction. Hadn't realised it was actually a conference centre / HQ of the NASUWT union but it was absolutely fine. Had a conference centre feel about it, but no problem for me. Warm room, comfy bed, nice shower and bathroom, wifi was good and there was a TV. Compact and bijoux but fine for me as I arrived at 8.30pm and left about 12 hours later. You probably wouldn't want to stay here if you were having a weekend away, leisure trip for more than one night but it was great for me. Breakfast excellent - buffet serve yourself, everything you could wish for.

Wonderful location. Peaceful. Grounds of hotel clean and well kept.

Housekeeping is a vital attribute to hotel work but not at 6 am in the morning do you want to hear the hoover going. Guests are here for a rest!! Also if you have party guests, try to keep together as again trying to rest. Can gather this guest was not happy.

Lovely old building, clean and tidy, staff helpful and food good. Stayed overnight before funeral and wake held back at hotel - catering excellent.
