Pros +
- This entire place is so relaxing. The grounds are amazing to stroll round with some really interesting pipework on parts of the building. The room was spacious and immaculate with every amenity and comfort. The bed was comfy with great pillow options. The bath towels were soft and large enough, which is a nice change, and the toiletries smelt amazing! (We had some difficulty turning the heating off so were too warm for a while, but that is always tricky when staying away from home, and better to be too warm than too cold for sure.)The bathroom was stunning, amazing walk in shower and separate roll top bath, really luxurious. We visited the Spa across the road and the set up between there and the hotel is great. We didn't eat at the hotel but the restaurants and bar looked amazing so we may do on our next visit because we will definitely be back. The staff on reception were great, really friendly and helpful. The relaxing atmosphere here made just the 1 night stay so very worth it and I cannot wait to go back.
- The location is excellent
- Breakfast was excellent lots of choices. Staff were excellent
Cons -
- Having previously stayed in a standard double, this time chose the executive double other than the view was not as nice as the standard double. Breakfast was not as good as previous room not as clean, carpet upon the floor, cobwebs hanging above bed, dead bugs inside bathroom light, thick dust on bathroom radiator, ceiling heater dirty and one coming away from ceiling. overall was not greatly impressed by the quality of the breakfast nor room service did not replenish the milk, coffee or biscuits. On a positive the staff are all very pleasant if I stay again would stay in standard room which are brighter.
- I thought the evening menu was limited and a bit over priced
- No issues with property AT ALL the only thing i could say is that the location could be a bit of a pain especially if you don’t drive and are travelling via public transport but nothing else at all.

The setting for this glorious property is excellent The staff are super friendly and nothing is too much trouble Max and Jack are a credit and assets to the hotel and the overall ethos is exemplary They make you feel like family
Beautiful dated property, amazing rooms with a mix of old and new.Very unique and welcoming.

Lovley staff and good service, comfy beds amazing breakfast!
The use of the swimming pool/jacuzzi and wellness facilities isn’t well explained on the advert as have to pay extra to use and book in advance
Lovely setting anc close to Stratford and Evesham
Casual dining closes at 4pm then its the more formal brasserie, lacking atmosphere due to choice of music played in background. Felt a little stuffy and to formal
Made to feel welcome with an excellent cream tea in front of a wood fire on another of this spell of wet weather
Only the shower wash in the round objects fitted to the shower wall.
Well we were put in a room where the roim was practically falling apart. It was in the Pear Tree area so not in the main building. Once we arrives in the room. The bathroom ceiling was peeling away the sides boards were scuffed and chipping away. We would have loved to stay in the main building. But was alas shoved into an area and a room which was not nice. The food was morsels for those people who dont eat. The chef has no understanding of how to cook or come up with a combination of Dinner items. The only thing which was ok was the coffee out of the sachettes in the room and the heater. Further the pillows need a looking too.
Very good
There was an event in Orangery, reception not very supportive in finding somewhere to park.
IT’s location. Staff were pleasant
We weren’t housed in the main hotel. The room we had was very warm during the night which made sleeping difficult
Everything was excellent, all staff especially helpful & the food was magnificent.
Couldn't stay long enough to enjoy more facilities.
Beautiful location, really helpful staff.
Returned after a family memorial service late in the day, unfortunately no food available unless pre booked. ie. No bar snacks or room service
Beautiful building and surroundings. Staff friendly and obliging. Breakfast excellent
Under the dining tables was very grubby lots crumbs and bits.
The hotel was in a quiet location and had everything we needed on site.
Although we were aware that the swimming pool was in the property next door, it was not mentioned anywhere online that you have to book in to swim.
Historic cosy hotel.
Bit tired, chips in bath and limescale on running sink taps. could have done with a more thorough clean.
we really enjoyed the vegetarian and vegan breakfast, and the room facilities were great, all staff were very helpful
The comfort of the bed
The attitude of the woman on reception. The £40 charge to use to the pool when no where does it say on the booking that pool and spa facilities are subject to an extra charge The attitude of the woman on reception at the spa that must have told me 3 times they were shutting at 4pm and then again at 3.55pm and upon exit when I asked for milk to have a cup of tea she tutted and couldn't be bothered to get me some when my wife and I had literally just paid £40 to use the pool fot all of 50 minutes!
Lovely building nice setting
Room in roof eaves so felt cramped. Basic furnishing poor car parking very limited and tight had to reverse all way out very tight road
Location and access to the spa were the reason we booked the hotel and both of these aspects were up to standard. The restaurant was nice but very expensive for the amount of food.
I paid extra for a suite, it was small, the decor was scratched, rough and outdated. There were very few plus sockets, room amenities (fridge, dedicated coffee station), the robes didn’t have ties, the towels were poorly folded, no additional pillows if required, stained carpets, scratched bath. Just generally shabby. The staff were never available when you needed them, we waited a long time at the bar anytime we visited and had to go and find staff.
