The staff are so friendly and welcoming. Lovely relaxed atmosphere. Easy check in and check out. The premises are really clean. Our room was large and comfortable. Good choice for breakfast.

The best thing about our stay was the people, nothing was to much trouble and they were friendly which is rare these days.

The room had a slight odor probably a bit of stuffiness. Old building but it did not really smell fresh.

Breakfast was well cooked and presented. The ambience of the Green Lodge reflects the Staffs eagerness to oblige.

Very minor ...but my room for 2 night stay was at the back of the Hotel...one morning awoken by the Drag delivery at 6.50 a.m.

The bathroom needs looking at - terrible smell of sewage in room 3 bathroom and drainage plug in shower needs repairing and shower gel dispenser not working

Really lovely place to stay, incredible value for money & the breakfast is delicious! Thoughtful touches in the room, such as decaf coffee bags & plenty of milk. Towels were a decent size, which is so often overlooked. Plenty of hanging space.

Bed could do with a topper to make it a bit softer. More soundproofing in the walls.

Central to train station and amenities. Staff good.

Smell in the bathroom

The staff were superb. Very friendly and attentive. Nothing was too much trouble even when they were very busy.

The rooms are a little dark and unwelcoming. Perhaps some better lighting would help.

Felt the bathroom facilities needed updating ie the bath taps were old
