Rogerthorpe Manor Hotel

The room was clean and of excellent value and the staff of the hotel were polite and helpful.

The onsite pub for dining was terrible for food and service.

Everything about this hotel is perfect , welcoming staff , we stayed in two suites in an annex from the main hotel . These rooms were stunning and spacious, do unique. Would s definitely stay here again when in the area …5 stars

The character of the property is lovely. It was a business stay so we had some work to do which we happily undertook in the bar / restaurant area prior to having our evening meal. The staff and food were fantastic.

the Staff were wonderful and the restaurant food was superb. The hotel was lovely and the topper mattress was very comfortable.

The pillows were not great.

House keeping staff was very loud in morning on a sunday and was talking very loud to eachother, which woke me up and couldnt get back to sleep

Key card stopped working on day 2. Around 6:00am each morning disturbed by really loud scraping noise like furniture being moved.

The hotel is in a quiet and beautiful location with attractive gardens . There is plenty of free parking . The staff were all very pleasant and helpful , the hotel is very clean and most areas lovely and warm.

I just found the room a bit cramped and the bed was very hard .The food in the attached pub/ restaurant is quite plain.

Warm welcome, super clean, no pets, room had everything one needs. Good beer! No litter, immaculate surrounding gardens.

The location is just is a ten minute drive from pontefract. The look of the hotel is very welcoming. The reception staff also very polite. The hotel facilities look great. The food in the Jacobean pub is excellent and a great variety and value for money. And the cooked breakfast was absolute amazing.

We had a superior room, which was excellent value for money. It was comfortable and well equipped. The food in the restraunt was a very good standard.

One minor improvement would be improved lighting around the sink unit in the bathroom.

Not as clean as it should be.On arrival we went to the room and instantly seen a half can of water in the room. The upstairs needs air conditioning as it was stifling hot

The room, bar, and food , Lisa in the morning sorted all our issues, great member of staff who knows her stuff, if it wasn't been kept awake it would of been full marks like always, first issue in 5 years staying here, it happens. Look forward to our next stay.

Didn't know we were next to the pamper room, was kept awake till 1 am. with noise.

Hotel was lovely. Staff at reception were great some others were preoccupied however there was a wedding going on too. Good breakfast

Towel rail in shower room didn’t work and no heating was on on arrival but the room soon heated up when we put the heating on

im afraid i was very dissapointed from the fact that i had booked this hotel for the Sunday night as i was working on the Monday morning. however when i arrived they told me they had moved breakfast on Monday to 08:00. Thats no use to working people as i would be up and gone by 07.30 . Breakfast was advertised as starting at 06:45

Your matress on the bed was awfull. i really dont understand nowadays why hotels have old cheap soft sprung mattresses. the lead to a terrible nights sleep.

The staff are friendly and were happy with us arriving later than expected. The rooms are comfortable and cosy. The breakfast is one of the best I've had.The grounds are lovely with a great view to the countryside. We have friends who live nearby so this is the perfect location. However there are lots of other attractions and places to visit just a short drive away.
