Lovely room and modern decor

Bed could be better

Easy to find but set back from the motorway so not noisy and plenty of parking.

Clean, decent food, large bed was huge and rooms were superb size and spotless

Couldn't seem to get the heating to turn down, was very hot all night even with window open, but better than being cold and its probably down to us not understanding the heating controls properly

Lovely, spacious, clean room. Perfect location for food places and getting in to theh town centre. Pizza from the restaurant was lovely and delivered to the room. Highly recommend

We didn't see any of the staff, any way we were there only one night.

Over night break. Rooms were clean Good location Food was nice unfortunately the wait was 45 minutes this was unacceptable especially as we had children and this became after their bed time. We was directly above the party below again this meant we didn’t fall asleep until after 11.30 and we needed a early start For this reason we wouldn’t book again

The staff were all excellent. They are extremely accommodating and this is one of the best things about the hotel. Also excellent breakfast.

The room could have been cleaner. Carpets not vacuumed properly, stains on floor behind toilet and stains on bedding. Also the fish pie at dinner was hardly the best and didn't taste fresh.

Breakfast was good, had to wait over a hour for food the night before due to chef going home ill but wasn't informed.

Very comfortable. The staff were lovely, we came for my daughter to take her driving test & they even got her a congratulations card when she passed. Excellent service.

The room was a bit too warm as the radiator was on full when we arrived. Also there aren’t any lifts upto the first floor without having to go up or down a set of stairs to get to them so was hard with the buggy. Though the staff were very helpful.

Comfortable bed, spacious an relaxing room. Excellent buffet style breakfast, with well good food and plenty to chose from.very helpful and polite staff, both at reception and the bar/ restaurant. Plenty of parking spaces.

Very nice hotel, great look in the downstairs lobby area, and clean and tidy throughout. Extra request fulfilled too. Pleasantly surprised and great value for the money

Paid for a king size bed, this was actually 2 single or small double mattresses pushed together, and obviously had the join gap between the 2, will stick to a standard double in future.

The rest of the stay...

The Sunday morning breakfast was disappointing - we went to breakfast ant 9am and had invited 2 family members to join us. The buffet was well picked over and no selection of bread -fruit etc. They had run out of sausages and bacon and weren’t prepared to make any more. The staff in the dining/kitchen were not as helpful or friendly or professional as all the other staff we met. Having paid for additionally for 2 breakfast it was extremely disappointing

The 2 nights we were there the room was never services at all despite leaving the door notice that we've popped out and the room needs to be serviced We had to ask for clean towels

Well located near to my family Christmas event. All staff we met were absolutely lovely and were so kind to my puppy.

The rooms were quite dated. The parsley toiletries in the bathroom also smelled disgusting.

We were visiting family in Horbury, so the location was perfect. Just a quick 5£ taxi into Horbury and a 10£ taxi ride to Wakefield.

The bed was probably a little on the smaller side for a couple

Standard room, good shower, good breakfast selection, friendly staff.
