The staff were absolutely wonderful, the service was always great from them.

The soft furnishings in the room were in dire need of a clean. The food options were pretty poor, especially the full vegan breakfast - expensive for what came (same price as the meat and veggie alternatives, £14.95). Consisted of 1 sausage, 1 hash brown, baked beans, 1 half of a small tomato and tinned mushrooms which were inedible. For that price you can help yourself to the Continental breakfast too, which had non-dairy milk but no vegan cereals, bread/toast but no non-dairy spread and very watered down breakfast juices. Would have appreciated a cheaper price to reflect the lack of options.

The rooms were clean and tidy but a little bit sparce and soleless

Good for a one nighter. Dated but clean,with comfy mattress and bath tub. Missed the mini-fridge. Free parking Friendly staff.

Receptionist upgraded our room booking to another with Jacuzzi bath as I had been cycling all day.We needed to leave promptly in the morning so receptionist took our breakfast order in the evening for chef to prepare as soon as he arrived. Excellent thoughtful service.

Location - walking distance to Newmillerdam, which has a lovely restaurant.

Breakfast could be better. Inferior sliced bread. Lack of plain yoghurt.

The staff were really friendly and attentive. Quiet location and quiet rooms. Food was great value as well.

Room doors are a little off putting but nothing really that bothers me.

Regular place to stay for college, friendly staff and clean, comfortable room

Large group arrived, not enough staff to manage them at meal times, I had to wait an hour for my food order to be taken. Not the servers fault but just more staff needed.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. There were a couple of things we needed and they were very quick to respond and sort for us. One or two of the room had been refurbished but needed one or two snags sorting but nothing which didn’t hinder our stay. Breakfast was very good and good choice.

The staff were very welcoming and friendly especially Tracey in Reception. The room was lovely and clean. Great location. We will definitely return!

Literally 5 mins from the venue we were going to for a surprise birthday celebration. Room was very spacious and comfortable and quiet. Staff were very helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was ok, lots of choice.

Large Comfortable Bed, with a lovely Clean Bathroom with a good quality Shower and plenty of Hot Water, Hand Soap & Shower Gel Supplied. The Full English Breakfast was superb, one of the best I have had in a UK Hotel.The Staff were very helpful chatty and friendly, they made a pleasant stay into a lovely stay, thank you.

Bed was comfortable

Very basic, smell of stale smoke, leaking water under shower shield on bath, poor quality coffee, felt like a cold dark box.

The location was very good with just a short walk to the local pubs, restaurant and cafes. Nearby lakeside walks and easy driving distance to Wakefield. Breakfast okay with both cooked and continental options. Pleasant one night stay to break our journey further north.

Rooms clean and comfortable but rather bland/sterile with no pictures on the walls. Not much choice of drinks at the hotel bar. Overall fine for a one night stay and good value.

The rooms are basic and could do with a bit of a refresh, also it would have been good to have been told we had twin beds pushed together. Whilst the extra width was good, it made it a bit uncomfortable whilst watching tv cuddled up. On the tv, they need to sort out the reception as half the channels you couldn't watch due to tuning issues
