Cons -
- Kettle lead was too short,Breakfast was only a choice of cooked sandwiches
- Very small shower room. Fridge in room would have been nice .No food Sunday evening
- We stayed one night so we probably were given the smallest room, it was adequate but small

It was easy to find and was very clean, warm and friendly
Clean, friendly, good atmosphere
Could hear the bar below but wasn’t a big issue
Location was great for commuters. Nice pub with a good atmosphere.
Was excited to come to a decent pub and have a nice cask but was no osset beers on which was abit disappointing.
Great service good food and friendly chatty staff
The owner was a very nice guy all the staff were very friendly and the room was spotless good food and a great bar
evening meal menu was very extensive and what we had was tasty; the staff are all very approachable
the bedroom was over the bar/restaurant and facing the nearby road so very noisy, plus a dripping shower to add a noise through the night (maybe some rooms are quiet?); the breakfast options offered us was meagre (eg. no eggs, mushrooms or tomatoes let alone something like eggs benedict or kippers) so very disappointing for a seeming 'restaurant with rooms'
Good location. Room was clean if rather small. Bathroom was spacious. Accommodation ok overall.
Staff were not very friendly on arrival, phoned ahead to request arriving a little later than estimated time due to concert in Leeds running late but they would not accommodate our request. Breakfast was really bad, no menu, just a limited choice between a sausage or bacon sandwich or scrambled egg. One cup of cheap coffee, restaurant was cold and staff started clearing tables whilst we were still eating
The room was lovely and clean. Bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was very clean and bright. We had a meal in the restaurant and had been recommended to have the belly pork which my husband did. He said it was the most delicious belly pork he had had in a long time. I had the burger and it was fab so don't go hunting for somewhere to eat as I would definitely recommend the hotel.
There was nothing we didn't like but a small issue was we had asked for a walk in shower but our room did not have this. When I questioned this at the hotel they said that there was an issue of communication between Booking.com and that any requests like mine were not getting through to them. The hotel was full so we couldn't move to another room but we were happy to stay. The request for a walk in shower was just that, a request not a necessity so not a big issue
Staff were exceptional , we were a rowdy bunch and they looked after us superbly.Great English country pub He’d a ball
Need to do a full English breakfast and get the coffee machine working in the AM Morning coffee undrinkable
Lovely friendly hotel, great atmosphere in the bar area and lovely clean room
Comfortable and quiet room. Great food in the evening with lots of appealing options. Good breakfast too. Free and plentiful parking. Friendly and welcoming staff.
Nothing really. Maybe the upstairs hallway area where the rooms are could be smartened up a bit.
All the rooms I have stayed in on my 3 visits to date were clean, comfortable and well appointed. The menu offered is excellent and the food exceeds my expectations every time. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. I have no qualms in recommending this hotel.
Nothing really
Good location. Lovely traditional pub with great atmosphere and meals. Friendly staff. Room was good.
Breakfast choice was limited.
it is always very nice at the Mews Hotel, Very busy at weekends and good food. Friendly staff
The bedroom itself was lovely and clean and comfortable and we have been several times. It has always been good and clean in the past. However, this time, the bathroom door scraped on the tiles, the shower had black mould around the tiles.
Continental breakfast included in room fee was fine, pleasant service. Would have been nice to know if there was an upgrade option to full English breakfast. Dinner the evening before was excellent - menu choices, service, drinks. Immaculately clean bedroom/bathroom - lovely decoration.
Blind in my room was broken - tied up with string. Batteries in the TV handset needed replacing (mentioned this the next day, so that these could be replaced). Forgot to mention about the blind.
Great location for Hepworth Gallery and Sculpture Park. Really friendly, well staffed. Bar was welcoming, restaurant was well above pub standards and good value. Room was nice but not especially spacious. Bathroom good, shower excellent. Bed really comfortable. Seems to be plenty of parking available, we had no problem even with the pub restaurant being full.
Bedroom could have had more space for a 'superior' room. Breaksfast is pretty restricted (packet cereal, couple of cooked choices but no full cooked) but perfectly adequate and nicely cooked. Be warned there's no food on Sunday evenings and restaurant booking in advcance is highly advisable. There are a couple of places to eat in Ossett centre, Nicos is good (similar price to the pub restaurant).
Room was nicely decorated, bed was comfortable , The food was excellent
Room was cold had to ask twice to get the heating on also had to run the shower for ages to get hot water. Being woken at 4.30 in the morning with the bin man collecting glass bottles
