The restaurant manager Shelley was outstanding. She was willing to literally adjust the dinner items so we have food exactly as we wanted and kept us laughing through out with her sense of humor

The front desk was un prepared inspite of us informing that we would arrive early. They also forgot to book the cab for our departure inspite of confirming the previous evening that it had been.Only reason we were able to catch the train to London was that it was running late!

Comfortable beds, quiet rooms, good breakfast, good location for exploring the lakes.

Very pleased with our stay, we had breakfast both mornings, no complaints food and service good. No issues with the room and room service all great. Location outstanding. Visited the gym facilities which were also excellent.

The staff hospitality was outstanding, nothing was too much trouble. Exceptional service from Sarah, Joanne on reception and Caliell in the restaurant.The food was excellent, the gardens immaculate and the whole of the environment was very clean and the bedroom comfortable with fluffy towels in the immaculate bathroom.Would highly recommend and we will come back .

The wardrobe was small in the bedroom..Suggest that the hotel has a "wet room" to enable guests to hang their wet outdoor clothes to dry and put muddy walking boots.

Re meals in the restaurant : My husband is a vegetarian and the restaurant manager / chef / staff went way beyond their job remit to help him have the food he wanted, 10/10 to all

There was NOTHING that both myself or my husband disliked about the place and we will definately book and stay here again in the very near future

Location.

The casual restaurant food lacked a bit. The grilled chicken ceasar salad contained multiple shreds of anchovies which was unexpected, but the whole salad was icy cold, with the grilled chicken also very cold and the thick slices very tough, as if the whole salad had been prepared far in advance.

Staff were wonderfully accommodating of storing my bicycle—thank you! The room was super clean and super comfortable. The hotel us big and has a big feel to it, but is in a quiet location and has a lovely outdoor patio. Breakfast was buffet style but generally good. All in all a good stay and would stay again if in the area. Thank you!

On meeting reception staff realized I was disabled and immediately took my car keys and retrieved our luggage from our car and delivered them to our ground floor room ,excellent 5 star service I thank them all,they also had a meal delivered to our room ,luxury,I'm able to swim and I was accommodated with that facility too,Breakfast was amazing as usual I say this as we stayed here many years ago and unlike most places we return to this one castle green has got an air of order training of staff,politeness,it's as good if not better well done all staff particularly theose on reception you are castle greens first impression and you knocked it out of the park WE WILL BE BACK Mr and Mrs walker 17/8/25 to 19/8/25 Room 120

The swimming pool, as it was full of a group of Asians who took up the majority of the space. More lanes would have been helpful for people who actually want to swam... like me

There was not 24 hour access to the gym.

Breakfast was very good. Everything you needed.Dinner was good but very expensive for the quantity.

Needs more directions to the top parking area nearest the hotel reception.One of the waitresses at breakfast was extremely rude. This was reported to the reception staff who could not apologise enough.

Food was very expensive for what you got. £15 for a burger with no fries or side salad, literally just a burger and a bun!

Lovely rooms and comfy bed. I had a lovely swim and a nice dinner

Our bathroom was a little grim, the door had pieces hanging off. Was told the pool was quiet after 6.30 so I went down at 6.50 to be told it wasn’t available after 7 so I had a ten minute swim. My dinner in room service was really nice but my partners was awful and he couldn’t eat it.
