    • Easy to find. Quiet. Very friendly staff. Good food.
    • Clean. Huge comfortable beds. Good breakfast. Staff excellent. I’d go as far to say they were some of the kindest people who have looked after us. Very relaxed.
    • The property was really nice. Clean rooms. Bar area was really really nice too. The village location was gorgeous.staff were really nice. Great Lounge areas with lovely furniture.

    Cons -

    • There was no TV in our room. Which is strange considering it’s a tiny village and we went for a nice quiet night but couldn’t actually watch TV in our room. Breakfast wasn’t great. Everything had been pre cooked and was in make shift food warmers. We had to state what time we would be down for breakfast so I thought we would be getting cooked breakfast made to order but sadly that wasn’t the case. Drinks were expensive. A large wine was £10.30 per glass. Parking is limited but we were fine parking next to the church. A little on the noisy side first thing when setting up with barrels etc but I’m an early bird anyway.
    • No heating No TV in the room Extractor air vent noise on the entire nightQuiet like a library in the bar
    • Hotel had a problem with the boiler so provided heaters in the room and had ranging wood burners downstairs keeping the bar warm. they called us to warn us there was no hot water and gave us a discount to compensate, excellent service.

The welcome was very friendly, food was excellent and in difficult cirsumstances the stay could not have been better.

Lovely pub in a countryside setting. Room was comfortable and clean and we were not bothered by the noise from the pub below despite staying on a Saturday evening. Dog and child friendly. Lovely breakfast too!

Location was OK. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Food in the evening was poor and overpriced, Room was small, To get to bathroom you had to squeeze past end of bed. No television, no food. Check in process was diabolical. Nail sticking out of door architrave inside bathroom. Room was clean and tidy though fittings were cheap and nasty.

The hotel and location were lovely, the staff were so friendly and welcoming, the food was excellent.

Not really a dislike but I was surprised that there was no TV in the room.

Lovely property, big rooms and very comfortable. Lovely location with many places to visit nearby and lovely walks. Staff were great and really helpful.

Food can be better. The menu looked very good but it didn’t taste as good. Felt a bit overpriced as well. There is a good choice for breakfast but again I feel the food can be better, even the toast was hard and dry like if it was reheated.

Such a charming village and pub. The food was beautiful and staff was super friendly and helpful.

One little thing was the room had no tv or radio.

Our room was a great size and clean. It had everything we needed, but hubby did miss not having a TV in the room!! Refurbished bathroom. Great shower (water pressure). Bed comfortable. Staff are absolutely amazing and make you feel so welcomed! Free parking right outside. A lovely place to stay. There isn't much around this area food wise but the staff will do everything they can to accommodate you in their restaurant! The food is delicious, and b/fast was included in our room rate!

Our room was directly above the bar/restaurant, so it was a little noisy, but they closed the bar at 11pm. We would definitely stay here again but would ask for a quieter room!!
