Pros +
- Free parking and proximity to the town centre
- Locations is brilliant very clean hotel with friendly staff
- The breakfast was amazing, the lounge/bar area was nice. Staff were helpful and friendly.
Cons -
- The room was a little dated. The lamp shade was cracked and broken.
- Hotel is next to bars and clubs. Very noisy all night even mid week. This hotel is rough around the edges. It is far overdue a renovation. The bed is very uncomfortable, the room is too hot at night. We were charged £178.00 for 3 nights and feel totally ripped off.
- Nothing all food as all Ibis we have stayed in?

The room was a little dated. The lamp shade was cracked and broken.
The location is good if you want to be near the train station and in the centre.

Really good location. Right in centre near train station. Easy to get to from motorway and big car park. Rooms clean comfy and good showers! Had a bar and pool table in lobby and served breakfast till 12!! Should have had the breakfast but needed to be away.

Wasn't great, very dated cold and dirty.
Everything
Staff were helpfulBed was comfyShower was good
Our room had a very strong smell of cigarette smokeWe immediately asked for another room which staff changed for usStaff were very helpful
Hotel is very handy for the station and the centre of Carlisle and its facilities.
It's very dated and in places not very clean (corridors particularly). Very basic and not as good value as it used to be. Why do cleaning staff have to knock on your door hours before you need to check out and there is a sign in your door. Quite noisy as well.
Walking distance to the city centre
Next door to a night club and too loud at night
Perfect location for shopping, dining and night life.
Bathroom was very small
Comfortable room
Room was close to nightclub and was noisy until 4am
Convenient stop going into Scotland. Clean and practical room, with on-site parking which is very handy.
Staff friendly and room very comfortable and clean
Liked everything about hotel and location
The Hotel was in a good location, it was comfortable and quiet. The breakfast was plentiful and tasty
There was nothing that would cause me any concern or discomfort. No reason to complain
Very good
Could have done with a hoover outside the room. Wasn't done for 2 days while we were there. Same mess. Nothing major.
Location and price
A car alarm outside window going off for 3 hours at 2am
Central, could keep bikes in the room. Later checkout time.
We had to get a family room for me and my mum. We only just managed with the size so I think an actual family would struggle
No units in the room to put things on apart from bedside tables and you had to plug the kettle in by the bed as no sockets near the facilities
Staff
The noise from guests coming in people late at night no one told them to respect other guests I had to open my door and tell them to be quiet the noise went on for at least 2hours, I stop at this hotel about 4 times year and this will be the last time as I can't see it getting any better
