- The hotel and room were immaculate. The style of the room a little dated, but exceptionally well kept, clean and spacious, with a large comfortable bed. I didn't eat in the hotel but did have a bit of food envy watching 2 guys tuck into tasty looking and well portioned Steak and Chips.

Spacious bedroom. Friendly staff and good breakfast
What a beautiful hotel - great staff friendly and helpful - food was beautiful and served hot - good choice of meals - room was excellent big roomy and warm
Lovely hotel. Close to shopping mall. Nice quiet rooms. Staff were all very friendly
Lovely hotel. We had a great meal and a chilled evening in the bar. Bed was comfy and we had a fab night sleep. Breakfast was plentiful with enough choice not to be over whelmed.
Everything. Excellent stay, booked at last minute due to travel disruption. Would return.
Just one thing - no kettle and hot drink facilities in room.
We booked an overnight stay on our way home from our holiday in Norfolk to The Highlands. We had booked a superior double room but were upgraded to a deluxe double which we couldn't have been more pleased with. It was cosy, clean and comfortable and we appreciated being able to relax on the sofa after our long drive. The staff were friendly, welcoming and attentive. Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of choice for either a continental or cooked meal and set us up for the rest of our journey home. We enjoyed chatting with Angela who was very helpful and who is a credit to the hotel. The gardens are very pleasant and would be nice to sit out in at warmer times of the year.
A bit more choice on the evening menu would have been welcome.
1 night stay over with...
The hotel is a bit dated and need of some TLC. The breaskfast wasnt anything special. Youghurts arent individually packed. And werent topped up. Not much choice of fruit. Strawberries or grapes.
A pleasing hotel, spotlessly clean.Friendly staff.
Toilet seat not secure
We had a lovely room overlooking the grounds, comfortable bed, good sized en suite with lovely toiletries. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Food in evening and at breakfast was of a high standard. After previous reviews we had to try the sticky toffee pudding and we weren’t disappointed
Unfortunately there was a wedding on, wedding party were very disrespectful of both other guests and staff. Drinking on terrace until 2.30am, foul language and very loud. Might be better to make wedding party book whole venue!
Nice location the room was better than i thought. Staff were very friendly
I was charged a service charge on the food that i did not know about and no opt out
Location was good, out side was lovely. The staff were lovely and helpful. The evening meal was lovely, breakfast was ok.
The place was dated and that is a shame. With a little modernising, of what we saw, it would look so much better. We had no tea and coffee facilities in the room.
Convenient from motorway and free parking.Dinner was good.
Hotel is tired and our "de luxe room number 12 was poor as was just an oversized disabled room and no safe for valuables provided. The old trouser press lining was disintegrating. The shower/lavatory smelt of urine. We did not get a table in the restaurant as there was a wedding using it.ROOM RATE IS OVERPRICED AT 195.00 AND DID NOT INCLUDE BREAKFAST.WE COULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL.
Great stop off for us in a good location.
It's a little dated and noisy with the road.
The garden is beautiful, the beds were very comfortable
Spider web in the bathtub, the ceiling was cracked(that should be fixed), on arrival my father greet one of the bartender and asked for a latte but never received one.
When we arrived we were unexpectedly upgraded and our room was fantastic! It was spacious, clean with a lovely view of the garden. The hotel was quiet at night and our sleep uninterrupted. They provided a fan in the room given how hot it was when we stayed. The staff were so friendly and helpful and we enjoyed a good evening meal in the bar. There was a good selection of items at breakfast. The hotel is very well positioned for the motorway connections but also to the designer shopping outlet which we had no idea about until we arrived. We were able to walk there from the hotel in under 10 mins which was a bonus. There are also some good walking routes on the hotel’s doorstep.
The staff were friendly and efficient. We were given a free upgrade to a deluxe room on arrival which was a lovely surprise. We ate in the hotel on the evening and the food was great. Breakfast was hot and plenty of choice, cooked fresh to order rather than a buffet, which was a wel ome change to other hotels we've stayed in.
The only downside was that we stayed in a heatwave and there was no air con. There was a fan in the room but this just recirculated already hot air. There were no parasols in the outside space so we were unable to sit outside as there was no shade until much later in the evening
Very comfortable and nicelyPresented room. Smart but a home from home
A little bit of traffic noise but only minor.
