    Good breakfast, liked the location

Entrance up steep stairs, actually a little dangerous, the equipment at the bottom of the steep stairs has sharp edges, it should be covered to lower the risk.

Hotel was quaint vibrant and walking distance from everything. I enjoyed my stay and the staff were super friendly. It was a really nice quaint place. Totally cool spot.

I was really disappointed that I had to wait like 5 hours to get into my room. At first I thought eh no big deal...but when I saw how small the room was and small the hotel was....I was like wow I literally have a closet bigger than This room....somebody could have ran over here...cleaned it out for me....and I could have finally laid down and rested after having traveled for literally 20 hours. I was exhausted

Good location in Aalborg. Friendly reception. Appreciated discount for otherwise very expensive parking.

Worn out facility. Stripped down room (on a par with an old Motel 6). Smelled of mold (or cigarette smoke?). Tiny room and tiny bathroom. Noisy from occupants on either side and above. Next to the water glass in room is a piece of chocolate and a pair of ear plugs. Breakfast is pretty bad.

The location is both an advantage and disadvantage. As others said, you will be in a pedestrian only area. The parking is 5 mins away and with the 50% hotel discount you still pay 130 DKK for a full day. But you are in a very central area.Room is very clean, neat and fairly spacious.

The location is on an infamous street where nights are long. We had the disadvantage of being kept awake by a group drinking, singing, making noise just outside the hotel, just under our window until 8 AM ! Maybe it was the bad timing of arriving on a Friday, who knows. Maybe it's a good fit for partyers or people who can sleep with a chainsaw in their bed, but it wasn't a good sleep for me.The breakfast is very lacking in fresh vegetables. I was also frustrated they had flavored yoghurt but not simple yoghurt. Otherwise you have pancakes, different toppings for them (jams, honey), sandwiches, salami, cheese, boiled eggs, good bread, some fruit, bell peppers, oats, milk, water, juice.

    Location, breakfast

Mattress arrangement was awful, you had a mattress then a top, which was totally unstable, and at the same time the sheet was not fastened to anything. Result was that you were floating around about to fall over with no sheet on. You can try to fix it during the night but to no avail. Ruined my sleep. Plain awful!

Perfect location. Nice staff. Gave me early check in.

    No kitchen.

Very affordable, good location, clean comfortable beds. Good breakfast.

Rooms are very small. Try not to get a room facing the street. Very noisy on weekends.

    9RonaldPosted on: 6-2-2025

They had a nice breakfast and a good location to see the sights.

They are located on a street with lots of pubs, so it is very noisy at night. Request a back room. Rooms are tiny.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. They did their jobs well.I like the system of using a code to enter the building and the room.

We chose this place because others rated it "clean". It was the furthest thing from clean. The floor, the curtains, the mattress, the toilet, bathroom floor, windows, sill.. everything was dusty, grimy, or had a layer of grease. The entrance smelled like beer and cigarettes. As soon as we checked in we began sneezing, and so did all the rooms around us (and believe me when I say we could hear them all). The walls were so thin I could hear some guy who was almost whispering. Someone across the hall sneezed, my wife said "bless you", and the person then thanked us - from another room, with our doors closed. The sheets were too small for the bed, and would expose the mattress as soon as we touched the bed. And of course, the mattress was covered in stains. I understand the need for cutting costs, but what's so expensive about buying sheets that are big enough to suit the mattress? It is very clear that the owner of this hotel does not care about its condition, nor its guests. It is cheaper than other options, but definitely not worth it. I went to a bakery the next morning that had a lovely and clean bathroom, and I am sincerely saying I would rather have slept in that bathroom than at Hotel Jomfru Ane.

Location was in center of town ,close to restaurants and shoppes

Location is good. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

The room had a window that opened onto the central lounge/breakfast area making it quite noisy. Limited options at breakfast.

The location was great, great value for money!

Limited breakfast choices. Also the building is not soundproofing inside, we could easily hear anyone out of our door. The bathroom had a bad smell from the building’s sewage which wasn’t very pleasant

Staff were helpful, had to be to carry bags up no lift!

No lift very steep and spiral stairs. Basic and noisy!

The staff was very nice, we checked in late and they texted me that I can pick up the key at 7/11 24 hours store cross the street. However, when we arrived the lady was still waiting for us and she was super nice.

Location was really convenient. Close to everything in Aalborg City. Easy to find and navigate how to get in. Breakfast was quite okay for the price you're paying.

During breakfast there's nothing that covers the food and people were sneezing near it which was a bit disgusting. There were also not many signs. For examples there meat slices but no mention of what type of meat it was. The mattresses were very dusty. When checking in, the receptionist doesn't really do anything. No mention of the hours for the breakfast, any map to the city or recommendations on what to see in Aalborg. Didn't even tell us when they go off. So be aware in the evening there are no receptionists. No mention of shampoo and conditioner of not being available. The fan in the bathroom didn't work and the shower hose leaked in the middle.

This hotel is right in the center of everything in Aalborg. I stayed for 11 days. The rooms are the perfect size and are very clean. The staff is very nice and extremely helpful. The breakfast was served hot and was delicious. The lounge area and self-serve coffee and tea that was available throughout the day was a great way to take a break and regroup during a day of museums, sight seeing and shopping.

    There wasn't anything I didn't like.
