Sun Club El Dorado - All Inclusive

The staff are lovely, the views are incredible. I especially loved the view from my room over the water. I spent one night watching a storm on the water.

I knew I was going in for a cheap holiday. I forgot about the drunken tourists. It's good to remember that. Also the food was ample, but it was very hard to stay healthy and the coffee sucks. But you really get what you pay for!

Clean room and bathroom. The staff were friendly. The pools were decent. Some parking available. There are tour agents that can assist you in purchasing boat trip and other activities.

The food needs improvement. No croissant type pastries at breakfast. The property is old and can use some updating. The lower pool didn't have any bed chairs that allowed for adjusting the back. You can only lay back on the chairs, not upright. In order to have functioning internet, one must purchase it for 15 Euro per device. The property isn't very close to much in regards to sites to see or beaches. There are a few bus stops up the road. Although, this wasn't an issue for us as we had rented a car, but it could be for those who do not have a car and want to have easy access to independently go see other parts of the island. There isn't a beach nearby. You must take the bus or drive your car to the beach.

The food was reduced as it wasn’t busy and not enough choice. Room didn’t get cleaned. Asked for another blanket as only supplied 2. Never got it. Had to stand in queue for 25 minutes to check out. People next door up late shouting and screaming. Nothing done. Bar never opened at top pool even though it was supposed to open at 10. Had to walk to other bar and go up the massive hill. Not good for anyone with mobility problems.

The pools were clean with lovely views of the sea.Contrary to the poor reviews I enjoyed the food. Lots of fresh fruits and salads. I enjoyed the fish and spare rib options. Lots of choice.Enjoyed entertaining onlookers with our poor attempt of tennis.The lady at information desk was very helpful and friendly. Restaurant staff were very efficient.

Too far out from anywhere.Chalets need attention. I heard complaints of smelly drains, poor drainage, electricity cut outs.Crazy golf needs repairs all ripped.Too many flies. They are a nuisance and annoying.Entertainment. Karaoke

I liked that there were people who took care of the children, there was also karaoke for the children in the evening. the pools were good but the water was very cold

There is no beach near the hotel, you have to drive or take a bus.

All the staff are friendly, helpful, and pleasant, especially Lisa & and Pati, on reception Good selection of food on offer If you want to be active, there is plenty to do, or if you prefer lazing the day away by the pool, you can If you're looking for a cheap, all-inclusive getaway in the sun, this is a great place to visit. This was my 2nd visit here. Would I go back ? Yes

I found the bed a bit uncomfortable The room needed a thorough clean. When I arrived, there was a dead moth on the floor in the room which stayed my whole trip. The room was made up once while there & the shower needed rinsing before use due to hairs from previous occupation

Staff is amazing, they really are do their best, all things considered. Food is ok and varied, you have fresh and cooked vegetables, fish, meat, rice, pasta, fruit and dessert. Drinks at the bars are included during the day. Easy parking, 24h reception.It's ok if you just want to be at the pool all day or as a base for visiting the island.

It doesn't look like the pictures, it's very old and would need refurbishing. The apartments have a stove, fridge and microwave but no kitchenware whatsoever (who doesn't travel with a pan in their suitcase?). The restaurant is more like a canteen. No shower gel or shampoo is provided, only small soap bars.

We visited over the years and love this place, it’s clean staff are amazing food excellent, always something for everyone, wine is delicious too, will return again, middle pool suits us best

There is no kettles in the rooms, not a problem tho as we bought are own ?

We really loved the personnel, the dinner was exquisite and the personnel was really friendly and nice. The All inclusive package was exceeding expectations, at least during lunch and dinner. We Also loved the area, the cottages for each group, the bed was really comfortable (this is a 2* complex but the bed was better than in a 3* hotel) and the cottage was really clean. The swimming pools were perfect, also the activities like minigolf or the possibility of scuba diving and a kids club.

The location has a hard access to the sea, so the Sun Club compensates this with services, the exquisite All i clusive and the top level personnel, also activities, also 3 swimming pools. Though many people like the activities, All inclusive and the quiet and peaceful atmosphere, so they go here repeatedly but they rent a car to go to the beach elsewhere, this is just to say about possibilities to not make this evaluation seem negative. What is missing is a better supermarket with also food for people checking in whose dinner is too far, or to have the restaurant also open for someone who would pay for their dish when checking in and having 4 hours until dinner.

we lived high on the mountain, there was a swimming pool right next to it and a very nice view from the mountain. the selection of food is not very big, but it was enough. A very large area.

I would like the children's roller coaster to be open for longer than one hour a day

The hotel has a very unique infrastructure. It is located on the wide area. 3x pools, 4x tennis courts. Lots of bungalows, few bars. It has a beautiful landscape around. Surrounded by the forest and sea. Nice drinks.

The hotel is not a new one. Spreading through the hill means a lot of walking. There are not many options of food. Especially if you don't eat pork - you can not be sure what you are served as there isn't always information. Plates are not very clean and mostly broken.You need to carry your own cup which you rent at the beginning of the stay. It is a horrible solution as I wanted to have a drink and a glass of water but it wasn't possible. One a time only.Pool entertainment is very weird. Guests entertain themselves much better. The fact was, guests needed music only. But no. The staff were putting it low or changing. And providing unwanted games. Evening show same - music and space to dance would be enough.You can not enjoy sitting at night outside apart of your bungalow. I felt like a teenager when the staff came to say we must go to the bungalow. Although we were just sitting and enjoying the view. There is no cash machine (atm) but some shop you can pay only with cash.Reception staff is not very friendly. They help or advise but are still making it the way I felt being intruder.Bungalow - not new but with a hood size. There is no fridge inside. Old hangers at wardrobe (that is not a real wardrobe). Toilet - shower with lots of long dark hair. I had to clean it before use. Cleaning the bungalow once only during the nights stay.Nights evenings don't keep the door or windows open due to the nature around (lizards, spiders, and rats).
