    Pros +

    • They stole our sunglasses on the beach initially they told us they would replace it to let us leave and when we left, they told us we lied and everything .insulting horrible experience for something so expensive and could’ve been so beautiful
    • Beautiful property and the staff was beyond fantastic.Excellent food, service and the restaurants are picturesque and gorgeous !
    • Pros: The best choice if you're looking for a quiet and romantic/intimate retreat in Mallorca, yet a 20-ish-minute drive from Palma's city center. Stunning property/grounds, like out of a medieval fairy tale--a true fortress. Very friendly and courteous staff. One of the best spa experiences ever: including a hammam treatment and a body massage (special shoutout to Sergio, Silvia, and Pilar). The room was a dream: comfortable bed and pillows, 2 bathroom areas (one with a sink and a tub, the other with a sink, shower, toilet, and bidet), great bath products, excellent A/C temperature (also with ceiling fans), and the pièce de résistance: a mind-blowing terrace with a sunbed area, a private pool, a lounge area, and outstanding cliffside ocean views. Privacy and intimacy at its best. Breakfast is selected by bedtime and strictly brought to the room the following morning. Outstanding food at both La Fortaleza (dinner tasting menu) and The Sea Club (a la carte). A plethora of incredible activities and amenities available. Complimentary valet parking.

    Cons -

    • Read above
    • The pool was small as was the beach area so there wasn’t much to do, and unfortunately the pool was full of obnoxious couples posturing for one another, shouting and on phones. Not relaxing at all —so we basically stayed at the palapa above our room— fabulous! The room was gorgeous but had a musty smell after being closed up due to it essentially being underground. Asking for a dehumidifier helped immediately so do ask for one!
    • Cons: None of the pools were heated. Cap Rocat is isolated, so if you're looking for a central base to travel around, this may not be the best option. But if you're looking for a quiet and/or romantic retreat, look no further.

We loved our suite. Spacious, quiet and private. The bed was heavenly. The soaking tub was lovely and was made even better with beautiful bath salts and candle! The staff was EXCEPTIONAL and everyone went out of their way to provide over-the-top service. We ate at the Sea Club twice and the food was delicious. Breakfast was very nice as well.

The property location is remote. We had a car but it was still a drive to get out of the hotel for the night.

    Beautiful location

Dark roomsThey live with an order reputation, but need to be motorized with more friendly and more modern style

The hotel is an experience, not just a room to stay. Every person is so attentive, and Juan at the pool bar is an exceptional employee, made sure every guest was attended so well! We came back to the room with candle lit up in the evenings, and breakfast brought up and served on our patio which was so nice- the food choices were wonderful, and very modern including chia pudding. The spa- we had the whole hammam extensive package, wow it was worth it and I would't cheap out on a partial treatment because my girlfriends and I agreed it was the best spa experience we have had around the world! We stayed 2 nights only, because there was no availability for a longer stay. So those 2 days we did not leave the hotel as it had everything needed right there!

Unique hotel converted from Fort. Beautiful lobby and walls of the old fort. Charming

The welcome we received at the hotel was first class. The room was large and fabulous. Because the hotel was spread out there was always a buggy to take you wherever you wished to go. The tennis facilities were very good. The pool and beach areas were excellent. All the staff were lovely and friendly. The food was excellent.

Breakfast was served at the room at whatever time was specified the night before. As a result some items were not as hot as could be and some items missed off. Extra items such as eggs benedict were priced extra which I thought absurd. Many of the dishes in the sea view restaurant were a minimum of 2 people. Couldn’t get a reservation in the Michelin starred restaurant even though resident at the hotel

The location of course, The historical building and its very respectful restoration – including the impressive living rooms and Michelin restaurant spaces,The suite,The spa and the pools, The pilates lessons included in the rate.

For the price paid - check the rates of a suite in August, we were expected an exceptional stay in “the Mediterranean’s most private and secluded resort”.Set apart the building, the location, and the facilities, our impression is a stay in … a basic airport Hilton. Which is not a fair comparison, as Hilton is not so bling bling and offers a honnest value for money. The Sea-Club restaurant is opened to non-residents. As a result, it is invaded by dozens of outside instagram tourists - for dozens of tables. Instead of a peaceful diner watching the sunset, we had diner surrounded by tourists taking pictures and speaking loudly. Of course the restaurant staff can not properly deal with such a mass of clients and “tossed us off”. We felt like in Mykonos... The staff – with some exceptions, is mostly very young (trainees or summer jobs?), completely unexperienced with 5-stars hotel standards and rarely fluent in English – not mentioning other languages. Interacting was very often rather impossible, which forces to basic requests for 3 days. Not a palace experience. The breakfast: despite it was served in the suite – and even on the terrace, which was great, the dishes are absolutely not up to standard of a 5 stars hotel. The fruits are not ripe. The scrambled eggs were not prepared with fresh eggs. No dishes cooked or prepared – but pieces of cheese or ham or anchovies – and not the best quality ones - Metro. Sausages were awful. Marmalades were basic - Metro again … Actually, not a single dish was at the level of a place hosting a restaurant mentioned by the Michelin Guide.

The location is amazing, the hotel itself and its architecture is beautiful

The kitchen seemed always understaffed and there were always delays. The breakfast was average. A man in reception was not attentive - not what we would expect from a hotel this ‘luxurious’ - check in is super long they make you wait around they offer you a glass of water and then there’s no one around for you to say you need a bottle in that heat… The toiletries in bedroom were basic - when I called to ask if they had a nail file they said they didn’t - which I found odd again not a luxury hotel experience. The service in general and attention to detail is missing but the place itself is beautiful.PS they charge 7 euros for a bottle of water - which is only filtered not even like an expensive brand of water it’s just filtered …

The entire stay was amazing. The setting is obviously very special. Every single staff member was on top of their game. even the welcome to the hotel was special. Food very nice with a great small selection of restaurants. I highly suggest the beach club for lunch. The SPA treatments were very good.

For whatever reason there was mosquitos in our room each night even though all windows and doors were shut. I assume they get in when they are cleaning the room. we woke up with bites everywhere each night.

    10ClarissaPosted on: 12-5-2022

Beautiful property and very attentive staff. Spanish guitar in the evenings, outdoor bed on the hill overlooking the ocean, breakfast on the patio, lots of history

High cost, but I was willing to bear it

    10Nicolas M.Posted on: 10-17-2022

The location was unreal. The staff were incredible. The spa service was outstanding. The views... Stunning.

The WiFi didn't extend to the Terrance well.

Nice view, friendly stuff, interesting place

unfortunatelly we had more than 30pcs small caterpillars in our room, even on bad!! which is not so mich comfortable for more than 1000€ stay. reception offer me another room and was really helpfull, but i didnt want to take the risk for another night so we leave after one night. I traveled a lot of and also we are often in Mallorca- never had problems like this anywhere before. If they know that there is problem like that, they have to deratize rooms etc. there is also a different if you find one / two / five small animals in the room which is normal and if you have to kill more than 30 pieces in 2 hours after dinner when you want to sleep. it's really stressful.

luxury, good smell in every part of hotel, friendly staff, nice food with good serving

Sea club made us to wait for 1and half hours to have a dishes. took so much time without notice in advance. was cold outside in may and was too hard to wait

Beautiful location in an old fort carefully renovated. Wonderful restaurant by the sea. Friendly knowledgeable staff.

Cap Rocat was the single best hotel I’ve stayed in. It’s a beautiful setting & the staff and service were exceptional. I was there as I’d recently gotten engaged and Cap Rocat upgraded our room as a courtesy. Thoroughly impressed.

    loved everything.
