HOTEL LUZ ALMONASTER

Pretty top notch as far as 2-star hotels go. Breakfast was excellent. Had dinner at the hotel twice and both were excellent. The highlight of the stay was the staff. Everyone was very friendly and more than eager to help. I would choose to stay here again.

A beautiful little hotel in a lovely village surrounded by greenery and hills. Excellent room with comfy bed and quality linen. Tito on reception was welcoming and helpful. Good breakfast with a mix of savoury and sweet items.

Nothing really. It's always easy to pick on minor items but this was a great stay and we wouldn't hesitate to revisit.

Charming. Welcoming. Feels exclusive with just a few rooms. Tastefully, carefully designed. Wonderful staff. Brilliant location. Immaculate. Peaceful. Garden is a big plus. Nothing too much trouble. Fantastic value for money. No annoying disturbing music in the background so you get to hear the birds instead.

Maybe a little more savoury for breakfast. So many cakes and sweets!!

The breakfast was very nice with fresh fruit and attentive staff making the coffee and refilling the various food. I would have liked to have yogurt and cereal options (oats, etc), but there was a VERY tasty tortilla every morning, so I was happy to have that Spanish option.The pool was wonderful, especially during the hot day it was an oasis!

just a very little thing... the shower head wouldn't stay up on the pole when the water was on... I forgot to mention this to the staff when we left, so I'm writing here, not as a critique, but so they know to fix the washer (or whatever part) to ensure that it could stay on the pole.

The room was large, beautifully remodeled (in a historic building), quiet, and spotlessly clean.The staff (Lucía, Asunción, Virginia, and Javier) were extremely friendly, helpful, and generous.Breakfast was delicious, with homemade pastries and cakes, including an especially fabulous tarta de queso.We had dinner in the hotel one night, and Asunción's cuisine was wonderful. (Dinner is not available every night.)

We encountered two things that are often not so comfortable for Americans in Europe:Although the bed was large (a king) and the mattress was comfortable, the bed pillows were not great.The shower, although large and clean, did not have a door or partition that closed completely, making it hard to avoid getting water all over the bathroom.

A beautiful small boutique hotel with lovely quiet garden. The staff were exceptional and made us feel very welcome.A very good selection. of homemade cakes on the breakfast buffet.

This was hands down the best hotel we stayed this year, the room was spacious, you had everything you need and the bed is huge. Everyone from the staff was very friendly, breakfast was very good with lots of homemade sweets. Could not ask for more. Thank you!

The sofa wasn 't very confortable. I would have like to have at least 2 Glasses, 2 Spoons in the Kitchen..

The location was very good. The breakfast was good but perhaps the coffee station needed to be in a different poison away from the buffet.

For the money it was excellent. Perhaps a small bottle of water in the room would be nice.

The breakfast was excellent. The pool was a refreshing change from the heat of the day. Our accommodation was perfect and the location stunning. Loved to see the storks atop the church.

The property was perfect but trying to find facilities in the area was a challenge until after 9 pm in the evening and the morning.

Perfect: room, bed, personal, and breakfast.We were traveling with our baby, which is always stressful because you don't know in advance if the place is going to be comfortable and suitable for him. The personal was extremely nice and helpful with us, providing us with a crib and a baby bath without even asking, also with a high chair in the common area. The room was pretty spacious and the bed really really comfortable. The breakfast is insanely good. The hotel is located in the center of Almonaster.

No taxis in the village so plan your trip carefully if you’re not coming by car.

Truly outstanding place: breakfast, room, village, customer service. Highly recommend paying extra for their best room (which I never do!)

Lovely big room with amazing view of the mezquita. We are dinner there as everywhere else in the village seemed to be shut. The food was as good as we've eaten on this holiday and the standard was already high! Incredibly friendly staff.

The people of the hotel is helpful and smiling.We stayed in the Suite, which is very elegant and atmosphere full.
