    Pros +

    • Wonderful restaurant and beautiful grounds.
    • Lovely place, but very difficult to locate. The breakfast buffet was outstanding. Dinner was wonderful with great service. Beautiful grounds.
    • We have visited it for a honey-weekend right after our marriage! Excellent emotions. Really medieval environment, calm, we felt ourselves as prince and princess. A good restaurant.

    Cons -

    • Wasps are everywhere.
    • Better signage to find the place and it would be good to include good directions with bookings. The staff is very kind and helpful and friendly.
    • Dishes in restaurant are a bit expensive and a potion is not very big. But it’s ok rather for a small degustation with a glass of wine.

the incredible charm of this hotel, the employees' attention, the breakfast quality, the great restaurant by the pool, the garden... always a joy to be there

    8PaulPosted on: 8-17-2024

The Chateau was impressive and the grounds well maintained and fully adequate for the number of people staying. The pool was first class. The air conditioning worked. Breakfast was good. There was a more than adequate restaurant. (Following numerous disappointments around Aix this helped restore faith in French coking, as did the even better restaurant at Privardiere, a few Km away).

I was surprised that a **** Hotel did not have a lift. I'm a pretty fit geriatric, but 59 steps up to a 'superior' room was not part of my expectation.

The old style and garden of the structure.

Food poisoning, rude staff, they didn't even say sorry

An amazing find not far from the medieval town of Usez. The staff were amazing, the restaurant was excellent and this has to be the BEST breakfast in France ! The Chateau is simply gorgeous.

    Nice location and site

Rather end of season feel. Room somewhat dingy . Staff rather disinterested on the whole.Restaurant menu incredibly pretentious.

    Beautiful and good facilities

Room furniture and floor unclean. Obviously hadn’t been dusted or floor washed for a while

    8LucyPosted on: 9-25-2022

Beautiful building in a lovely village. Wonderful swimming pool and good sized room which was very clean and well appointed

The restaurant does not change it's menu (which is limited). It would be a good idea to have a different menu each day of the 7 days of the week for people staying a few days. The Bar has no beer- on draught or only very limited choice by bottle.

    historic building and setting

breakfast was overpriced as was evening meal for the quality of food provided. the Crème Brûlée was curdled. some of the facilities needed a bit more care and upgrading given the price of the accommodation. On the whole the staff did not engage as much as other places we have stayed and we didn’t not feel as welcomed as we have elsewhere.

    9HargreavesPosted on: 6-21-2022

really impressive beautiful old chateau, wonderfully and tastefully restored and spacious, relaxing surroundings.

air conditioning didn’t really work very wellsmall bath with overhead shower meant everything got wet - a walk in shower would have been better

    8DavidPosted on: 9-8-2021

Great swimming pool, restaurant outside good, very charming staff

Room was basic for the price with old fashioned shower in bath arrangement without curtain.

    8LucaPosted on: 8-23-2021

We ended up in here not knowing at all the region. At the end, it's beautiful, both the village and the hotel. Great and quite pool. It's a romantic place.
