    Pros +

    • The hotel is a very beautiful and comfortable, historic property. It has been restored to a very high standard and has been immaculately maintained. It is very convenient for visiting the D-Day beaches. One of our favorite hotels ever!
    • Amazing village hotel, beautiful big room, excellent service, and a perfect breakfast. Highly recommended
    • Location .. brilliant, just as described. The Manoir has been beautifully renovated, highest standard. The reception staff attentive and helpful.

    Cons -

    • It's a pity that evening meals are not available. Breakfast for this level of hotel should include a menu , restaurant staff to serve coffee, explain what is available. Also be more attentive to the customers, rather than preparing to set the tables for the evening coach parties..
    • 3rd floor room was very nice, but no elevator made the stairs difficult for two 75 year olds with bad knees.
    • Only thing we had change is to have coffee brewing at 7 AM instead of 8 AM

What an amazing lace to stay! Comfortable, roomy, posh room. Wonderful breakfast, wonderful staff.

3rd floor room was very nice, but no elevator made the stairs difficult for two 75 year olds with bad knees.

Lovely venue in an old manor. Comfortable room. Fabulous breakfast. Wonderful staff. Lovely villages and restaurants nearby and ideal for a tour of WW2 Normandy

This is a magnificent restored 17th century farm manor. Everything about it was wonderful. The location was perfect for visiting the DD beaches, Caen and Bayeux. The staff was helpful, friendly, and bilingual. We highly recommend this establishment.

Only thing we had change is to have coffee brewing at 7 AM instead of 8 AM

Some staff very responsive yo our needs when my wife got sick and we needed dinner without driving far or going takeout. They provided a hot “to go” meal, ready-made, to our room. And, also provided quick coffee and croissants to go for our DDay tour. We also liked the hamlet of Crepon and the very scenic drive to & from Bayeux, even though we did it all our days there.

Not sure room I thought I was getting when I booked was what we got. Looked different. Also had one staff person on Monday not allow access for coffee before 8am. Would suggest earlier access, even 7:30 would make difference.

Beautiful 18th century building entirely renovated. The room we got was pretty awesome. Staff was very friendly. Unforgettable breakfast with local produces, including amazing "Fromage Blanc" we are still talking about weeks after and local raw milk cheeses.

Nothing really serious. We were not sure we could plug in and use the portable A/C unit because it was unplugged and moved aside. But it was a bit hot at night so we did it for the second night.

The staff was very helpful and very friendly. The grounds look like a postcard!

The WiFi was a little sketchy if the building with our room but worked fine outside and closer to the main area where the dining room was.

The most pleasant surprise in our month long road trip in France. Blissfully quiet little town; impeccable, well appointed, large room with very comfy bed. Recently renovated facilities with no shortcuts. Lots of on-site free parking. Céline and Isabelle at reception provide a friendly and efficient welcome. Great breakfast.

We paid a small amount to be upgraded to a suite which was wonderful. Bonus that the hotel had an English news channel on the tv. the hosts where exceptional. the room was amazing. full review on trip advisor with photos

The room was lovely. Everything we needed. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent.

    We had no dislikes whatsoever.

Breakfast - Lots of fruit, cheese, bread, croissants, pain au chocolat, fresh orange juice, delicious yogurt.

No breakfast tea, and no bowls for yogurt and fruit. Few or no restaurants nearby on Sunday and Monday.

A delightful and peaceful hotel with welcoming friendly staff. We were upgraded to a better room which was a real treat. Very comfortable bed and great bathroom with a lovely rain shower. Kettle and fridge were handy for snacks and drinks. Breakfast was perfect and plentiful with fruit, yogurt, eggs, freshly squeezed orange juice, meat, cheese, bread and pastries. We were able to keep our bikes safely in their storage/garage area. In warm weather there's a lovely outdoor area to enjoy an aperitif. There is a restaurant a 10 min walk away and other a 4km drive.

The hotel setting is lovely; like being in a park. Staff were fabulous and the room was spacious, as was the ensuite. Parking was easy. We were given a list of restaurants to try - we headed to the area near Juno Beach Courseulles-sur-Mer sur mer and had a lovely meal at Le Comptoir Crémaillère - which wasn’t on the list but it prob should be added to the list. ?

Had to walk up a couple of flights of stairs to the room. We were getting used to this and we were able to leave some gear on the car which was useful.

Best breakfasts we had in Normandy. Breads, pastries, eggs made to order, hard boiled eggs, chopped up fruits, coffee, tea, cheeses, meats, jams -- I know I'm forgetting a few things. Building exterior very rustic. Room had wood beams. A lot of French charm everywhere. All staff were very helpful.

An absolute gem, a perfect stay at the start or end of your trip to France. About half an hour from the ferry port. Hotel room was beautiful, clean and comfortable. Bathroom was amazing. A good selection of rooms, some with self catering facilities.

We should have stayed here longer! We will definitely stay here on our next trip.

Everything was perfect - great room, great facilities, lovely owner and staff. The breakfast is exceptional and overall this hotel is excellent value. A special thank you to Isabelle - who owns this lovely property with her husband. We can’t wait to return, next time for a much longer stay.
