Best Western The Hotel Versailles

Late arrival. Employees set everything up for my arrival. Very professional. Friendly!

The room was comfortable

Staff were rude. I have never stayed at a best western before that charged for breakfast and certainly not €15 / person! We did not get the password at check in and the front desk wasn't answering the phones. We only got one towel in our room.

Size of the home and the shower you can’t take a bath only shower .

Good value for the money. Comfortable. Close to Paris. Convenient parking. Great breakfast.

The staff were so helpful and friendly. It was amazing. One of the most helpful hotels I have ever stayed at. I'll definitely be coming back. I was there for business.

The bed was a little hard but some people like hard beds. I loved everything else about the hotel ?

We were very frustrated while dining at the hotel, and here is what my wife wrote as a Google review while we were still waiting to be served at the restaurant:"We are currently staying at the hotel and made the very bad decision to dine at the restaurant.This message is for the management, and I do hope someone reads it.There’s only one waiter looking after around 12 tables and the poor guy is running around like a headless chicken, trying to do his best.My husband had to go inside to fetch the menus AND our drinks. After about an hour’s wait, the waiter came to inform us that they don’t have our starters. No news on the mains yet, but we are loosing hope and patience .It might sound funny, but it isn’t.And I’d appreciate some kind of an explanation."

Good place for a night or two. Plenty of free parking, not far from the Palace of Versailles. Rooms are clean. Check-in possible all night.

My room had a disgusting smell. I reported it several times to staff but they had no other options. I couldn't sleep at all and I felt sick with smell.Totally unaccetable.

Short drive to Versailles. Parking was excellent. Large grocery store across street. Room comfortable and very clean.

No elevator for upper floors. Bathroom is very small. Restaurant was closed on weekends. Limited choices for breakfast and dinner menu items.Breakfast not included in price of room.

We really love this hotel, it has everything we need, except for the personal/mini fridge, it would be nice to have it, especially if you are staying for 2 or more nights. But overall, it was really good, comfy and really clean. We love that it has a smart tv too, that we can cast our phones and watch Netflix or Disney. It may be a bit small but it served its purpose.

Not that we did not really like it but it would be good to collect the payment upon check in, instead of check out. To be honest, I forgot that we need to pay at the hotel as we have booked 3 hotels during the month of June and i forgot that it was this hotel that booking.com did not collect in advance so I was a bit surprised coz we did not pay yet and was embarrassed at the same time. But luckily, the receptionist was just calm.

Easy parking adjacent to hotel.Short drive (even in rush hour) to Versailles.

Strange description of reception hours even though we were able to come late at night. The shower drains water very slowly.

Shocking hotel

Turned up at 7pm, no staff members on sight. Nothing left regarding my booking. Tried using the intercom to speak to someone. Waited over an hour and a half, and heard nothing. Every time I tried to speak to them "we are figuring out what to do". Ended up having to book another hotel, and they still charged me for the night when I sat outside their hotel for 2 hours trying to get to my room. Staff were more then useless. Booking.com also no help in the matter as their 'agent' tried contacting them and got no response so suggested I sit outside and wait. Location is shocking. Stay in the ibis in the centre of Versaille instead. Amazing location, good connections and helpful staff.

Nice comfortable room in a quiet location and very handy to have it accross the rd from an Intermarche'. Only about 15 minutes from Versaille castle. really nice staff.

The room was very small, even for europe and it lacked a small refrigerator. We would have loved to try the restaurant but the prices were too high for us and the menu too limited. We realize we were in the broad/ general Versailles area but feel the room was overpriced for the amenities and location.

Really nice and helpful staff, convenient location, clean, comfortable beds!

Breakfasts are basic, croissants and coffee were disappointing :(
