Apollo Hotel Bratislava

The Air conditioning couldn't cool down the room even with the ambient outside at 26C. It was a major disappointment. Avoid this hotel in peak summers.

Excellent breakfast.Friendly and helpful staff.Easy access to the main bus station.

access to breakfast room is not the best for people who have problems with walking. It would be good to have a lift there. I did not find a lift connecting with restaurant.

Lication

The hotel was generally old and had a specific smell. The room was cleaned every day, but not well; one day they even forgot a cleaning cloth. There was food left in the refrigerator from the previous guest. The breakfast was poor.

Location was good

Limited services, limited comfort and rather strange rules, like no daily and complementary drinking water offered in the rooms.

The lovely salt cave, the service and staff, the rooms and much more.

The breakfast was good, and the room was spacious

No extra towels, although the flooring was parquet there were no slippers! Also, our room and the whole floor smelled bad (although it was the premium room). Super small elevator, and during holidays you have to wait a long time to take it! Nothing special about the salt cave! There was not even a clean towel to put on your Lounger.

Breakfast was OK. It kind of similar to what to expect in Europe

What I did not like was the fact that I kept receiving fake messages on my booking. This means that the hotels email ID has been compromised. Never received such messages on my booking around the world. The hotel needs to check on this.

Very pretty, quiet hotel. The front desk staff were friendly and welcoming. Room was clean and comfortable and breakfast was good.

Restaurant on premise. Young staff, very helpful and willing to engage with you. Adam, especially, was wonderful.

This was not the same hotel we visited five years ago as far as comfort of room. The sheets were rough and scratchy. The remodeled wing was very bare boned and sterile. No elevator to restaurant for people with disabilities; but they will take you on their staff elevator if needed.

Clean, great staff, good breakfast.

First night dogs barking for hours from some of the rooms. Second night we extended our stay and the staff mentioned there will be a wedding on the 1st floor. We asked if we will hear it on the 4th floor and she said no. Unfortunately that wasn't correct, we could hear VERY loud bass/music from this wedding until 4am, even with earplugs it was still audible!This level of noise would not be acceptable in an apartment building (the police would surely be called), so why is it acceptable in a hotel where I'm paying 100+ euros a night? Oh and the cleaners came and vacuumed the hallway at 9am so you only have a few possible hours to sleep.Management who allowed this 4am loud party should be ashamed of themselves and I wish they were forced to sleep in one of the rooms listening to this party all night. You'll see in other reviews I was not the only one who couldn't sleep.

wonderful breakfast with plenty to choose from; room was clean and very comfortable; the stuff was accomodating and kind.

the room temperature was almost too warm

The staff are not friendly and we booked 2nights for second day after we came we were shocked that the room not cleaned as it should be towels not changed cups which was used day before not replaced and at the checkout just matter of chuckling out at 11:25 the staff was very rood and asked us to leave with extra payment of 20 euro .

Not a 4⭐Towel rail and toilet brush holder coming off the wall. Hand held shower attachment over a bath, not what you would expect in a 4 star. Tea/ coffee facilities in the room minimal. Gym if you wanted to use it, old and small. Dogs in the breakfast room, really.....?.

Awesome location, bus stop right outside. Fantastic breakfast, outstanding. Nice, clean, roomy and comfortable.

Aircon didn't work, just gently puffed warm air, so very stuffy and hot in the room.

Helpful staff. Good parking. Very close to public transit
