WX Hotel

Great breakfast, awesome staff and great spa and pool.

Room is a bit oldfashioned, old furniture, but for money it was good.

Came up short to expectations

Unfortunately following basic agreements is hard. I have requested two beds in a room and instead I got a double. Also the phone number left for urgent cals was never picked up by anyone just 15-20 minutes after the reception closed.

The hotel is located in a nice part of Bratislava, away from the main city center, but a short Bolt/taxi ride away. The nearby surroundings were a nice neighborhood for walking and several small communities could be explored on foot. I really liked the views that my room had from the balcony, I enjoyed the spa/wellness center, which was clean and felt luxurious, and the restaurant on site had an excellent breakfast and a very good lunch menu too. I also liked that the staff was friendly, multilingual, and professional. The staff was more than happy to help me learn more about Bratislava and they also helped me find a Catholic mass at a nearby church. Thank you WX Hotel for making my stay relaxing and enjoyable!

No complaints. I had an excellent stay. The only warning is that this hotel is located far from the city center. It is perfect for enjoying the nature in the outskirts of Bratislava, but do note that reaching the city proper will require a bus ride, taxi ride, or renting your own car. That said, staying here is well worth the experience!

Vegetables at breakfast :-))))

We needed to wash our bikes from mud - there seemed to be a hose outside, but did not work. (We approached the staff about it.). It is a minor thing, not something you would expect from a hotel. Probably next time would be easier to direct us to "vapka" that we found the other day, several km from the hotel.

Breakfast was excellent, with a large range of freshly made eggs and sausages. I've seen similar breakfast bars in four and five-star hotels.

I tailored the Booking.com search to include hotels with wellness facilities. I was surprised to see that wellness is only available for an extra charge. The tap water was undrinkable, with a strong saltwater taste. I recommend taking bottled water.

Clean rooms, comfortable bads.

Very unfriendly stuff in the restaurant. We arrived for breakfast at 9:55 and they dont want to let us have short breakfast. Very disapointed about that.

The hotel has a big parking area, there are restaurants and sports establishments nearby. The location is easy to find and the reception is very well trained. Check-in was super easy.

The hotel has a spa area, but it is not highlighted on the Booking page that it requires a reservation in advance. This was the main reason I chose the hotel to use the spa. The equipment in the room was not the newest. One chair was broken and the bathtub looked awful. Sink was rusty.

Very cozy and practical hotel, friendly staff, amazing wellness, but it is better to make a reservation in advance. Varied breakfast and the possibility to charge an electric car.

The hotel was clean and tidy.

The walls are too thin. Some rooms are joined with locked door. You could hear even quite conversation from next room Poor Wi-Fi connection. Netflix could not load properly.The restaurant/Bar was not open after 10am

The proximity to regular bus services to the hospital and city centre. How clean the hotel was and how friendly the staff were. The pool for a relaxing soak. The breakfast was lovely and plentiful.

No bar was open during our stay, if we wanted an evening drink.

Nice location for one night stay during your travel. Comfortable room, spacious room and bathroom. Good automated check-in option for late arrivals when reception is not working (after 22:00). Still reception contacted and asked when we arrive if you are not showing up till 22:00. Clean, tidy, has microwave and kettle, tea, coffee options. Spacious parking in front of the hotel.

Air conditioning was working so loudly that we had to turn it off during a night. Not possible to sleep. WiFi is weak. Also fridge is loud :(Also during the breakfast one of the personnel person was constantly staring how much the guests eat and put in the plates. And when my wife took watermelon plate for us two and was walking back to our table, he was shaking his head with the expression "oh my god those all eating tourists...". This was not pleasant experience and attitude.

The apartment is spacious and very clean, the beds are comfortable. I have nothing to complain about. Generous, fresh and versatile breakfast for all tastes and ages.

The light in the bathroom can be a bit strong, especially for morning make-up ?

I would quote my 10 years old daughter: "Mom, this hotel has 3 stars but for me it deserve 5" :)Indeed, the staff is friendly/professional, the building interior is verry pleasant and it makes you feel relaxed.The rooms were large and quite (i could understand how quite were only when I opened the window :D)Bath tub in both rooms. Nice touch with the blue light under the sink in the bathroom ^_^Parking place available (of course)

What I didn't like? ... it is simple: How did I miss this hotel up to now?We travel once per year in this direction and I am surprised to notice this hotel only now. ^_^One more thing: ... I regret not having the energy to N'joy the pool :)...better luck next time :)

Pleasant hotel with a swimming pool located near Devín Castle. Free parking in front of the hotel. Good breakfast, pleasant receptionist.

Clean, really helpful staff, possibilities to entertain children, nice breakfast.

The bed in the living room wasn’t too comfortable

Everything was clean, the food was excellent and varied. We were with small children, so we didn't try the wellness. There is also a small area in front of the hotel suitable for children with a slide, toys and other activities. Free parking. All recommendations.

Everything was fine for us.

The hotel is located away from the old downtown, but there are good connections by bus or train. Staff was very kind and they gave us all information that we have needed.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The airline lost my suitcase! The two men manning the front desk went out of their way to help me deal with the luggage delivery people. I really appreciated their help. Also, the room was clean, convenient to our family activities, and they had a very good breakfast.

I would have preferred a walk-in shower, but none were available for a double room
