Locating and beach access

The staff was difficult to get a hold of and had to remind over 4 times for basic stuff like towels and toilet paper

Soooo beautiful!! Staff pleasant and friendly. All seemed to be having a blast, which made it fun! Dinner was amazing and our drinks were the best! We had non alcoholic also. Breakfast was great also wonderful coffee.We loved the swings around the beach and beach itself. Beautiful place to run or take a long stroll as well! We chatted w locals training for a race. Music was Wonderful in the evening. Nice to swim-although rocky just feet from shore.

A dog kept scratching VERY loudly on our door, making loud banging sounds and at windows ALL night long. I did not sleep :(Menu was limited. But perfect for us, as only there 1 day.Hard to communicate. Would have been nice if there was a sign about breakfast times. Very hard to figure out transportation ! I am now trying to get reimbursed for paying for Uber to pier, as we could not find them at the airport. Also, I paid twice for a boat there! :( but once we were there it was amazing:)

The staff was fantastic. Wessy, Jhonny, Kateryn, and Venus were very pleasant during my two day stay. Wessy and Jhonny went above and beyond for any of my requests, making me feel very welcomed. Can not wait to visit again!

The mosquitos but we are on an island so it is to be expected. I would recommend adding the water bags or some sort of bug repellent outside near the pool villa areas as an added amenity. Luckily, I brought my own bug spray. The mosquitos weirdly did not enter the bedroom area. I slept well.

The beds were comfortable and there is direct beach access. My dog was able to be free, room around and enjoy the beach.

The pool wasn't available for the entire 4 days we stayed. When we arrived they told us we could take a complementary ferry for the inconvenience but then told us it was for the day before we arrived. There was a lot of miscommunication. This was our second stay but sadly this time our experience was very poor. They charged us IVA/ taxes and later found we shouldn't have been charged because we do not live in Colombia. NO other hotels ever charged us this during our vacation to Colombia. Staff seemed unhappy to work at the resort and sometimes had an attitude. When we were about to leave they asked me how I would rate it and I explained our discomforts were dismissed and then we were even asked me to give a better rating and take a picture to show them as proof. I found that so unprofessional as if they didn't really care about our true honest experience.

Service was amazing. Great place to disconnect from the busyness of Cartagena. Beautiful beach and clean and cozy rooms.Loved that is pet friendly. My 4 legs boy was happy

The food could be better.

Beach was clean, not many people and nice. Dinner was perfect, very romantic - in fact, my partner asked my hand in marriage there!! so really really nice everything! about the breakfast it could have been more accessible the drinks... it was really hot and only 2 people felt like they kept forgetting what we ask for.

Boat was quite expensive for the ride of 15 mins. Think it would be cheaper give is not a yatch. But, the ride was fine and people were kind.

Rooms are súper clean and spacious which I really liked. Also included breakfast was delicious with nice/ generous portions.

On the way back to mainland Cartagena, the staff overbooked the boat ride even when guest were supposed to book the ride 48 hours in advance. Because the lack of coordination and back up plan, we were stuck under the sun for 30 minutes while staff was trying to figure out how to solve the problem…. Really poor guest experience as some people had to disembark with a lame ‘sorry’. On similar note, while rooms are nice and clean, common areas seem run down and require attention.

Beautiful rooms and beach. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Dinner was just average. Price paid was a bit higher than quoted on Booking.com

Le details said that it was a only adults places and that's why we made the reservation buy it's actually a family hotel

The premium "Suite Piscina" was fantastic, spacious and very comfortable. The food and drinks are good, not exceptional, but they are trying their best.

Some of the service channels didn't really work as efficiently as they should, such as ordering food through WhatsApp - ended up taking 2-hours and two visits to the front desk for burgers and beer to delivered via room service. At least a couple of bottles of water should be complimentary in your room (this is standard in almost all hotels). Our checkout process where the front desk agent was going to overcharge for items NOT consumed from the minibar was totally unnecessary and left a negative impression at the end of our stay.

It is nothing like photos. I assume pictures are from year 2010. We letf afer one night, paid for two. It is definitely good hostel, not hotel in 2025.

Everything. Staff super helpful and smiling. Especially Jackson was very kind and almost helpful.

The jetskies on the beach made us un onfortable. They have to set a special place for them because they are running among the swimmers to get customers and pose a danger.

Breakfast was delicious. I would have like to be able to get a cup of coffee earlier

View to Cartagena

Several times I did not have water at all, or any hot water. Staff were not friendly or ignored requests. Restaurant service (sic) was terrible. Room fan clacking was so noisy I could not sleep well. Bedroom portion needs another mini-split to cool room and a functioning remote. Generally the most expensive, least value, experience on my trip at a property that has extraordinary potential.

Beautidul location, great ambience, delicious food, attentive and nice staff.

The service is a little slow, the menu has some errors, the room decorations are nice but I found the bathroom a little uncomfortable to shower. I found the bed a little too soft bc I prefer an orthopedic mattress. I expected more music and food and drink available during night, the bar and restaurant closed at 10PM

The hotel is oceanfront and has comfortable furniture for ocean views.

It's very disorganized. Check-in is difficult; it's like a college induction. Meals are complicated. Orders are forgotten and never delivered; you have to press hard to get them. One day, we had to order a coffee five times. The checkout was very disorganized. They wanted to charge us for washing a towel. After check-in, they called us to say they had done the math wrong and scolded us. We showed receipts that showed they had charged. But they made us have a terrible time.

Food was just ok. Communication wasn't the best. When you book you speak with one whatsapp account. Then another for transportation. Then another when on property. Which was fine but they tried to charge me for the transportation I had already prepaid. Then needed me to show proof of payment to a different account. It would be better to have either 1 account or the ability to reference payments because if I hadn't caught it I would've been charged twice. Otherwise the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Bug infestation! Wild dogs and cats everywhere! They are flea and worm infested. You get ONE towel and there are NO face towels. There is only one restaurant and is only ok. You eat al fresco which means the bugs and sand fleas and ticks and mosquitoes will eat you alive.

The food for lunch & dinner was good, but also kind of limited. The pool was also nice.

This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the place was poorly managed and didn’t come close to meeting even basic standards.We had booked a “superior room,” but when we got there, we found the hot water faucet in the shower was broken—it spun around and didn’t work at all. We reported it to the front desk, and instead of fixing it, the staff told us that our room type doesn’t include hot water. Yes, you read that right—they told us we should’ve paid more for a “luxury villa” if we wanted hot water. They even asked if the room description explicitly listed hot water. When we said no, they simply replied, “Then there is no hot water in the room you reserved.” That’s their logic—if it doesn’t say you’ll get hot water, you won’t.The beach was a disaster. It was full of trash and clearly hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. Most of the beach loungers were so moldy they were unusable—not just dirty, but covered in thick patches of mold. Disgusting.The restaurant service was just as bad. We waited endlessly for someone to bring us menus, take our orders, or even acknowledge we were there. Every time we needed something, we had to walk up to the bar and ask. And no, the place wasn’t packed—they just didn’t care. The staff were usually chatting and laughing behind the bar while guests sat waiting.To top it all off, we woke up covered in itchy bites. Either the bed had bed bugs, or the place is crawling with fleas—probably not surprising, considering the number of cats and dogs roaming around. I don’t have a problem with animals, but these were in poor condition, and the lack of hygiene was shocking.Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this place. It’s unsanitary, unprofessional, and completely indifferent to guests’ basic needs.

Loved everything!
