Nice private beach, very peaceful place, nice rooms good space, we have very good time there, feeling like kings because the service is 5 stars

I stayed in this hotel for the 2nd time - previously exactly 1 year ago. I must admit that the change is visible and it is a good thing. The service is better. The rooms are cleaner. The food is good, although too expensive, not worth the money. But in general - everything was fine.

Peaceful, clean and comfortable. Can be loud in the weekends due to pool parties.

Is very uncomfortable to don’t have wifi and have rooms with very bad celular coverage. Also, the waiting time for the food was very long.

Restaurant was bad value for money and not very good. Also our room was next to kitchen of neighbouring hotel and very noisy in the morningUnfortunately Tierra bomba is only cosmetically clean on the expensive side, but plastic and dirt all aroundA tip for the staff is not to give the welcome cocktail at the landing when you have to walk to reception, check in and go to your hut with your drink in your hand. Either make people sit down while you do the check in for them and let people enjoy the drink or give the drink after check-in and let people settle in after with their drink at the bar. I had sticky everything and a warm half glass of welcome cocktail once I got round to it in the heat.

The property was beautiful maintained, offering breathtaking views of the ocean and an incredible pool area that provided a relaxing atmosphere

Food was excellent but very pricey

Sooooo me and my friend came to Columbia together and they stayed at the resort next door. The resort next door was so funny acting and is very high priced and they do not even have a pool. My friend actually enjoyed visiting at my resort wayyyyyyy more than the resort next door, Enteka'

The food honestly but I did tell the staff that. Breakfast was great and so were the drinks.

The staff was very friendly. The breakfast was quite good.

The beds are quite uncomfortable and so are the pillows, the AC doesn’t quite make your room cold because it’s indoor outdoor living.

The pool and hotel and rooms are done out very nicely and are well maintained. It’s a very relaxing space and the staff in the main are very helpful and accommodating.

The hotel could do with more sunloungers around the pool as opposed to deckchairs and a little more information of the surrounding things on the island would be good. It would be to have a small area to buy snacks and drinks.

Service was friendly and very good. Manager, Jose, was specially kind and even went out of his way to send me, home, a medicine I had left behind. The atmosphere was easy, happy and rooms were spacious and comfortable.Room service and cleaning was top notch.

I liked everything about the hotel and its people.

I was woken up at 3am by noises in the roof. I asked about it in the morning…..it was theNeighbor’s peacock that likes to roam around the roofs at night

We loved Vista Mare! I like the fact that the boat ride is included and that they take dogs. Our room was very comfortable, great towels, AC and hot water too. The staff is always pleasant and cheerful. The views at night are amazing, the skyline of Boca grande is quite the sight. We stayed four days and ate all our meals there. Best pasta in Cartagena! Best breakfast too since all the options are included (avocado salmon, pancakes, burrito, traditional..). Nobody pushes Tierra Bomba but it is such a peaceful break from Cartagena and easy to get to. I highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed 4 days at Vista Mare and felt very comfortable! The room was very clean and the garden with the pool and outdoor shower were fantastic! The food was lovingly prepared and we could eat at different places which was very romantic. The beach is very nice and you get your own deck chairs. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We can highly recommend the Vista Mare Beach House!

Location was nice with a view of Cartagena, but that was about it.

The resort took very long to respond and that should have raised some red flags. I contacted them 5 days prior to arrival to set up ground transportation to the boat and boat transfer to the island. Never heard back and I had to contact them the day prior to get everything set up. It went downhill from there. The beds were incredibly uncomfortable. Keep in mind that this is not a regular hotel room, but a thatch roofed hut - probably best described as glamping, but not very glamorous to be honest. The worst part was that the air conditioning did not keep up, so it was hot and sticky and on the last night it barely worked at all. I tried to contact staff, but the front desk closes after 4 or 5 pm and there was response (other than an automated message stating that they’re closed for the day). The doors to the pool and room is open to the top, so despite screened in windows, the mosquitoes ate us alive. The gecko probably tried to help, but couldn’t keep up. The pictures made the private pool look bigger, but it’s probably best to expect an oversized bathtub than a pool. The room/hut had a very primitive and run down feel to it - the toilet seat was even broken. I honestly expected more for USD$200+ per night. If you are looking to get close to nature, this is your place, as there no TVs and very sketchy WiFi. So, if you’re looking to tune- out, this may be your spot. For us, it was extremely disappointing.

it’s a very peaceful stay. rooms are very nice and comfortable. beds are also comfortable. there a nice beach area although the ocean and beach is carrying the trash from the city. the staff is really friendly. they go out of their way to assist you. the food is also very tasty.

although the food is very tasty it takes very long to arrive. it can take up to 1/1,5h to arrive even though there’s not many people there.
