Splash Inn Dive Resort

Location was the best thing about this hotel. Dab smack in the middle of all the action on West End, with direct access to the beaches. The FREE breakfast was a pleasant surprise as well.

Limited parking with only 2 available spots for all guests. Toilet in our room wasn't working and staff never addressed it. Had a problem with a window & had to go to front desk twice until they came to fix. Insect issue in lobby area. Flies everywhere

Great staff. Excellent diving staff. Fun and laidback environment.

The location is prime in West End. Close to everything you may need.

At night it can be quite noisy because... you are in the center of everything.

The location is amazing, the attached restaurant has really good food and drinks, and the staff is really nice and professional, both the check in receptionist and the restaurant wait staff. I have zero complaints.

Resort was in center of town, convenient to restaurants and shopping.

Room was basic, very little amenities offered. No body lotions or body wash offered in the room. I had to request for hair dryer and extra blanket from front desk. Customer service wasn't great, felt like an inconvenience to the staff when requesting an item. Restaurant service was very slow. Wouldn't reommend this resort when there are so many other options on the island.

Great, friendly staff. They were always ready to help out. The hotel was right in the middle of everything. The food at the restaurant was great.

Darren at the desk was friendly and helpful! Rooms were clean and comfortable. Location was excellent and safe. Very basic , but all you’ll need , highly recommend!

The little gal in the restaurant was awesome server! She was right on it all the time! The dive shop is awesome and did over and above! Very accommodating to help me with my gear

My friend had a hard time sleeping because of her bed. One time waited waiting 15 minutes and the waiter never came to the table. So we went down the street to eat

Smack dab in the middle of west end. Can’t get a better location if you want to be around restaurants, diving and night life. Dive shop was nice and convenient. One of the dives was swimming distance from the resort dock. For $100 I was hoping to go get out further. Didn’t need a boat for it.

Breakfast used to be included in a standard room but now one has to purchase a sizeable dive package for the inclusion, otherwise it’s $10. While the food was tasty, it was quite pricey. The WiFi was quite spotty. Didn’t work in the room unless close to a window. While the staff were friendly, they weren’t totally dialed in. Took 6 days for my dives to be charged and sent to the host area. The biggest let down was that they ordered a taxi for the following morning at 5am in order to leave. The staff confirmed the pickup as we had to be to the airport by 545 AM. We ended up calling a handful of taxis and got lucky last minute.

We were only supposed to be there one night, but due to flight cancellations, ended up staying for 4 and the staff could not have been more helpful or accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble, everyone was friendly and did their best to help us and other guests that were also stuck on the Island. The location is perfect, on the main strip in West End and directly opposite the water taxi's to West Bay. Plenty of food and nightlife too.

Our room (Double Room with Sea View) was right above the kitchen and so if you don't manage the AC right (and shut the bathroom door!), it can get pretty toasty.Biggest issue with our trip was getting stuck for 4 extra days due to crop burning cancelling flights, but certainly can't complain about the accommodation.

Breakfast was ok I think it had a good location near a lot of eating choice's ,beach just down the street, water taxi right out front

AC is not working properly, it doesn’t turn off when it reach desired temperature. I am a HVAC tech so I know what I am talking about. It was super cold or hot in the room.

The location was okay - nice beach, close to the water taxi, the bed was comfy.

Asked the hotel if they can provide a transfer from the ferry to hotel, they said yes, but would charge 60$ (return), if you ask a taxi driver in Spanish he charges you 5$ each way. The staff was working like they hate their job, no hello, always a grumpy faces. It’s not clean at all. At night it’s loud. you have ants all over your bathroom. In the restaurant they sell Nutella crepe.. instead of Nutella they sell a cheap imitation of it. Yes, I know it’s an island, it has to be imported, but then don’t sell it as Nutella. The cabinet seems to fall apart - we didn’t take out our stuff out of out luggage. It’s definitely not worth the price, would not stay there again.

Breakfast included was a huge plus. Another plus...always had cucumber and or regular cold water near reception, and the fans in the restaurant area are a huge plus to hanging out there, appreciating the view, eating or hanging out. The rooms are standard Honduran rooms...well equipped with soap/shampoo, hot water, closet, a chair, and many of the rooms have outdoor seating and even a hammock. Pizzas for lunch were great, and the staff was always nice, helpful, and worked out any questions/issues we had very quickly. The dive shop staff/instructors were great as well, and helped us there a ton...but were also super flexible and wanted to just make the dive we had the best they could. They even helped us coordinate getting to and from the airport.

There was a temporary issue with one of the room's AC unit, but it was quickly handled. I can't really think of anything negative to say otherwise.

Pool is advertised but it actually is on another property quite a walk away.

The staff was amazing! They went far and beyond to treat us! Thanks, guys! The location was perfect to explore the local food, bars, etc. It was very convenient having the dive center at the hotel! We had an amazing experience!

Quaint little place. Great location. Super friendly staff. Great breakfast every morning.
