- Terrific in these things: Location, boutique , cleanliness, staff/owner attention, breakfast. All was excellent.
Cons -
- We enjoy a property like this, smaller, terrific location, attention to detail for all the things that count for us.If you need an elevator, 24 hour reception this is not your type of hotel.
- Rooms were small but comfortable
- Parking. The garage is a haul down the road; instructions for paying were not clear and I needed a local to help me figure it all out! The prior day I received a ticket accidentally parking in a local zone (my mistake).

Warmly welcoming staff. They make you feel like you know each other since many years. Perfect location, very nice and tidy.Parking place is not too far away and considering the hotel is at the heart of this small jewel town, it makes sense. Absolutely recommended.
Great location in the city of Munster, theatre parking close by as described. Lovely fresh breakfast with great coffee.
Rooms were small but comfortable
The location near the city center was excellent. My room was overlooking the restaurants across the street so felt lively (a plus AND a minus). Room was cozy but not cramped. An intimate vibe with narrow staircases and halls. More like an Inn than a Hotel.
Parking. The garage is a haul down the road; instructions for paying were not clear and I needed a local to help me figure it all out! The prior day I received a ticket accidentally parking in a local zone (my mistake).
Decent value for money for 1 person. Clean, comfortable, decent breakfast.
My room was very comfortable - especially the bed. It was very clean and tidy. Breakfast was very good - coffee particularly good and an excellent choice of food. Location was perfect for the conference I was attending.
This hotel was so charming! And they had a small, lovely terrace for enjoying the evening. And the location was fabulous!!!
The room was a bit small.
Central location so walking distance from shops restaurants and public transport. Nice rooms, charming terrace and very helpful and friendly staff. Breakfast was good.
Stairs to all floors not so good if you are older. This is the only thing that would put me off booking here again. A little noise from the front facing rooms opposite road and the restaurants but the town was busy and it didn’t stop me sleeping!
Wonderful, friendly staff, who couldn't do enough for us to make our stay a memorable one. The terrace was a lovely place to sit for breakfast or just to chill later in the day.
It's central location meant it was very noisy, so if you need quiet to sleep, this location wouldn't suit some people. We have earplugs and being city dwellers are used to constant noise.
I arrived much later then planned in the evening (train issues) and was worried about checking in. Staff had kindly left a phone number taped to the door (the is a small hotel without 24 hour reception) which I was able to call. I was then talked through the process of opening the door with a key code and my key was waiting for me in my room. The next day on opening my curtains I was greeted with a beautiful view of local rooftops and the huge nearby cathedral. Be advised it has early morning bells (if you aren't a morning person!). Initially when I went to get breakfast all tables were taken. The waitress very kindly (a few minutes later after I returned to my room) knocked on my door to let me know a table was now free. There is outdoor seating as well for when the weather is warmer. The hotel has a great location in the city centre within easy walking distance of lots of nearby museums. Its a 20 minute walk from the main train station. The receptionist was really friendly and kind when I spoke to her about leaving my suitcase (after checking out) whilst sight seeing on my last day. Munster is a beautiful place, and I would certainly consider visiting this hotel again in the future if I returned to Munster.
Not the fault of the hotel, the cathedral bells did wake me up a bit earlier than expected! (I was hoping for a lie in after a long previous day).
Great location, cute little hotel, amazing breakfast, helpful staff, nicely decorated, comfortable spacious room
Excellent position. Average room.
Lack of coffee machine in room. No refrigerator in room. Very steep stairs to upper floors. Expensive car parking facilities some distance from the hotel.
The location of the hotel is directly in the city center and around the corner of just everything important; you can reach everything by walking. The staff is very friendly, the rooms are comfortable. The breakfast meets the expectations.
Excellent location, cute little hotel In the old city. Very charming and decently renovated. The self-check worked perfectly. The room was comfortable and had a great view.
TV programs were sparse - maybe 30% were available and all was in German. Breakfast was decent, but no vegan options really. The mattress was not very comfortable.
It seems to be family run and a lot of care is taken. The welcome I received was amazing. I booked a single room, which was compact but modern, clean and very comfortable and with views into the cathedral. I made a special request as I'm allergic to feathers and this was noted and catered for, for which I'm grateful.Breakfast was great - I love a good German breakfast and there is a restful breakfast room (+ outdoor area for warmer weather) where I spent a while eating more than I should, drinking coffee and catching up on the news in my iPad. Stepping out of the hotel, you're two seconds from the Dom and pretty much on the Prinzipalmarkt, so the location could hardly be better.
Nothing. I'm very pleased I chose Hotel Busche for my stay in Münster
This hotel and its staff are AMAZING! The location is directly near the Dom, and easy walking distance to everything, including the castle. The hotel is on a great street with boutiques, restaurants, cafes, art galleries, bakeries and tea shops. My room (12) was on the top floor with a great view--the room was very spacious and super comfortable! The breakfast was outstanding--everything from juice to scrambled eggs to cheese to delicious rolls and meats and cereals, and, and, and. The breakfast person was AMAZING! She was so friendly and helpful who obviously loves making people feel welcome. Marc at Reception was FANTASTIC--friendly and helpful from the moment I go there. I travel a lot, and this hidden gem is WONDERFUL. Don't miss staying here!!!
can't think of anything!
Breakfast and served were wonderful Location great in heart of town
No elevator and stairs were steep, so poor for luggage. Room was hot and if the windows were open it was very noisy so hard to sleep Mattress a bit insubstantial
The girl at reception was excellent, friendly, accommodating, and very hard working
Location and everything else
