Fletcher Hotel Apeldoorn

We have stayed here 3 years ago when it was The Hampshire. Breakfast was included in the daily tariff. The evening reception duty staff were excellent. We had several small requests and their response these were very positive with 'a no trouble'

We felt that 16 Euros PPPD for breakfast was excessive! It did not represent value for money , because of this we only took breakfast twice.

Breakfast was good enough choices.

More explanation at check in. Bed was not clean, there was an enormous amount of dust, with each movement you could see the dust flying around.

Dissapointing

Old, had 2 steps from room to bathroom. Also didn’t get the room we booked and they did not do anything about it

The location of the Hotel is perfect, only a 20 min walk into the center and a great surrounding. The lobby is chique and the staff is friendly. The room is OK for 2 persons and the bath was clean.

Unfortunately, the charging of my car had to be done via a separate membership, despite having the name of the hotel on the charger. The walls/doors seem to made of cardboard as one can hear every word spoken by other guests in the hallway and in the room next door...having moved the beds it became clear that vacuum cleaning occurs around the beds only...

The area Is nice, not too far from the center . The price is good.

I could hear the street's noise and the other's rooms doors slamming.

Breakfast was fine. Personal was friendly, but a bit amateuristic.

The beds were way, way, too soft. The room was also very cold. They certainly need to upgrade their insulation, and get better beds/mattresses.

Good looking hotel with plenty of parking and dinning space. Good menu options, but possibly limited for vegetarians or vegans. All staff spoke English along with various other languages.Great location on the edge of the city and almost directly onto the forest cycle trails - ideal for exploring on bikes. Plenty of dirt and tarmac cycle trails.

Single rooms are always a little 'sad', but otherwise it was clean, tidy and comfortable.

The bed is very soft.

The room, and the bathroom were quite spacious and clean. Hotel was easy to access, in a quiet part of the town surrounded with nature. the breakfast room was quite big and nicely organized: food and tables were in two separate rooms preventing traffic and noise in the dining area.

the hotel is quite good however it is up for refurbishment. Noise isolation in rooms was poor.

It was quaint, clean and the staff was super. The walls were very thin, so to speak, as you could hear what the neighbors were saying. But once we asked the desk if they could see about quitting the neighbors (after all it was 11 pm) a bit, they did and then we slept very well. The staff was really very helpful. Breakfast was great as well!

Can't really complain about anything!

Food was brilliant, location was good, room was basic but clean

The location is great,... walking and bike distance from forest and center of the town. Also located on the road (ring) of Apeldoorn.

The room was small and the airconditioner could't get colder than 19Degrees Celcius and I think the temperature was even higher even with a 19DC setting. My Business partner did't sleep for the two nights he stayed in the Hotel. He canceled another two nights. Also after filing a complaint the responsable person pointed the finger to me and did't even wanted to talk about what really was wrong.

Good size room with good sized bathroom

Absolutely no ventilation at all. Room was extremely hot, it was even colder when you left the room. Only a small fan given. No mini fridge. Room was generally dirty. Grimy and outdated furniture.

The hotel looks good from the outside, it is located in a very nice green area, even if not very close to the center. The price is decent. The cleaning ladies are nice and willing to help.

I think that the rooms need some kind of renovation, especially the bathrooms. The bathtub for example, still has the tent. They could offer free coffee during the day like other hotels do.

The hotel was very close to the Orpheus Theatre and town centre.

Check in and check out were quite fast. There is parking available too.The room itself had a comfy bed and good curtains.Breakfast is well stocked enough and quite tasty.

It is just slightly too expensive for how minimal the rooms are. There was no kettle, airconditioning, fridge or coatrack.

It was located near the event we had to attend

They were short staffed & although they werefully booked they didn’t have enough food tofeed everyone
