    • There wasn't a time limit for checking in, and people were understanding if you were late for the check out.

    Cons -

    • Not that many facilities included for the price you have to pay.
    • Good beds and clean room. Everything in the room is older than on the photos, I should start planning some renovations of I was the owner. My room on the second floor has steep Dutch stairs. Because of the steep stairs. I cannot return here in Mai 2026 with my partner who has long covid heart problems. Same counts for the restaurant and breakfast area on the hill. I think a ground floor room will give walking sounds problems of guests above. I checked the pool area as a rescue swimmer, but even for me alone its to isolated from others and staff. Could not see a cleaning list somewhere on the wall so skipped swimming.

The whole out of the city vibe. We arrived at night about 8 PM, and everybody was very friendly. We visited the restaurant for having a dinner, the waitress, she was very helpful, and fun, and nice. I will go back absolutely. Worth the price and the service.

The Wi-Fi could be stronger, like 5Ghz Wi-Fi 6 technology, but this does not effect the whole time while we where there. So that might be the only negative what I could say.

Location was very good partially in the forest. Room was clean, comfortable with good kettle

At the time it was very icy but not a lot the hotel could have done about that some gritting may have helped on paths and car parks. Our two bed house had very noisy ‘unidentified wildlife’ living in the loft space which disturbed the upper room

    Nasty place, unfit to be...

It is a rarity to find a clean, hygjenic, overnight acommodation in the Netherlands where the hotel policy and its personel do not make you feel as if highway robbery has been committed. The Fletcher Hotel Restaurant De Wipselberg-Veluwe is by no means an exception to this rule. The hotel room resembled migrant workers accommodations at the turn of the 20th century. The only thing missing was an outhouse in the back of the building. Literally decrepit. It looked and felt like a poorly kept homeless shelter (no offense to the homeless/houseless).

Lovely location - we had the first snow of the year and the Christmas decorations were still up ;) . Main building is very nice and staff were very welcoming.

Rooms (in separate 1960's) houses were very dated, which is a shame because the buildings are nice (I actually really like the 1960's building fabric, but the 1990's bathrooms / furniture and especially the suspended ceiling are 'not for me').

The food was delicious and the area is really beautiful.

The rooms are old, dirty, moldy. Curtains with holes and mold, heating not working properly, mold in the bathroom, carpet full with stains. I would never, never come back.

All staff was very friendly and helpful. Free parking. The breakfast was good.

It is not a hotel per se but rooms in chalets scattered around the grounds. It is a long walk in the dark through wooded areas from the parking to the room. The steep spiral staircases are dangerous to climb when carrying a suitcase.

Some of the staff were very nice, some were very somber. I tipped the nice ones.

The little houses are very outdated. Not an issue for me, I needed a desk and a bed for 3 days so looked for a cheap option and got a good price.

    Beautiful surroundings.

Advertised bar and pub although there never open in the 7 days we stayed there. Only the restaurant opened.

    Poor

For all those who use booking.com, please carefully review the services, including the offered costs, as you can find that the cost mentioned there doesn't include breakfast. The only positive aspect of this hotel was its location, offering a calm and beautiful environment in the midst of the forest. Hospitality level is below zero, and the room cleaning is even worse.

    Green surrounding, terrace

Low standard of rooms, not very clean. Bathroom strange and impracticality designed. Quit standard without much choice breakfast

Privacy and quiet place, The best place if you want paces. Staff its very pleasant and professional, Thre prices are excellent as well. Its a must go !

    in a nice environment

Poor arrangement, split our families into 2 separate house and claimed it’s our “choice” while during booking process, nothing/no items for customers to “choose”. And when clarified, nothing been “chosen”, kept arguing the arrangement was due to our “request”, 5 times before finally said, well, “also because”, it is fully booked. Will NEVER go back.

    Location nice but untidy

Parking to far away from room's, not allowed with car on park grounds, difficult with luggage, roads not level which makes movement with luggage unpleasant. No camera at parking , tried adding a couple of extra nights which would cost more then twice the original amount I payed for 3nights which it shouldn't be. Very young receptionist.

He location is amazing. You’re in the middle of the forest. The overall layout if the resort is great. I like the chalets and the main buildings.

Some members of the staff are just weird. Not friendly at all. Overall, the entire resort feels like an abandoned place. Maintenance is a problem inside and outside.

    The Location is wonderful

Room is very old, there was mold on the wallBathroom was also d, the soap dispenser broken, the handle next to the bath tub shacking so we did not dare to touch it.The bed was too soft nd the backs hurt as a result of that The food was terrible. I have never had so bad food in any restaurant and I have travelled a lot …

Very Quiet location and tranquil yet close to the main highway. The room is a little dated but spacious and comfortable. Great value for money

The parking was too far and the shower clogged up
