    Pros +

    • Unique experience. Beautiful room/decor. Quiet location just outside the city center and lots of privacy. Kind staff. Room was warm and clean.
    • Breakfast was good (except the coffee that was served cold). Pleasent staff.
    • The hotel is located in a very quiet area, which is nice. Has free private parking behind the hotel. The breakfast was good and substantial. Attention and communication were also good.

    Cons -

    • The place needs maintenance. There is neglect everywhere. For example, the fan does not work, rubbish in the back, balcony, seats in dining room, and fountain in the front and more. This place could have been a gem but is lacking attention to details. We switched rooms because the room was so small that the bed was attached to the wall. There are better options in town.
    • The floor of our room creaked a lot and it was quite loud - when everyone was awake it was annoying, and at night it was a big problem since the family would wake up. Also, but this really depends on your kids, but our son was afraid of the decor (he still slept fine though).
    • Nothing really

The breakfast was wonderful. But the location was a bit far from city center, considering the fact that there were not good transport vehicles in Apeldoorn.

A beautiful Victorian house, with beautiful rooms, decorated so wonderfully and with so much care and detail. Very friendly owners! A true gem & highly recommended!

    Nothing really

    The bed was comfortable

From the beginning, before I get a room: I have to pay 2.50 or I have no access to the hotel. I already had paid 87, but if I don't pay some edition taxes I can't be invited. I have to stop the car on the way and make the second transfer. And the hotel already had got 87. The hotel it is the dump. The old not functional things are everywhere, all spaces full of it. It is really a dump. The sheets were clean but so old that it lost the color and was white-grayThe bathroom... It is not heating place with a big bath. The water or extra hot or cold, the stream is very weak, impossible to take a shower, nessery to wait ~ 30 min to fill the bath.It is a gas heater in the middle of the room. Like an owen. And for 90€ per night you have instant coffee. It is also "parking" - just a street parking on front of the hotel 90€ It is the price of modern hotel with new furnishings, parking, all modern showers, heating, air recuperating and receptionist.Do not recommend this hole for anybody.

Nice balance between the 19th century theme and expected modern amenities. Very good breakfast. Excellent care and sympathy from Jane. No complaints whatsoever. Really enjoyed, hope to be back someday.

Authentic 1896 house beautifully decorated, great staff (in Victorian outfits!), wonderful breakfast.

We didn't mind, but the building is, due to its age, quite noisy. It requires everyone to mind their steps and other movements around the house. No big problem, you just need to be aware.

Great breakfast and friendly staff.Free parking on site.Voctoria style.

Room and bathroom is small and uncomfortable.Victoria style needs an update.

Staff and owner are so friendly. Location is excellent. Breakfast was good. Neighborhood is charming.

No shower curtain, not clean enough, stains on upholstery, cobwebs.

The place was adorable you can feel the vibe of XIXth century . Definitely not typical hotel. If you look for something unique , well you couldn’t have done better. And what is more - the hotel staff in Victorian styled clothes complete the whole picture.

Short walk into town, located in a nice, quiet neighborhood. Helpful staff.

Breakfast at the Pegasus is an experience, all table service with multiple courses and period piece cutlery and dishes

Rear garden and access to the bike parking is badly overgrown and needs tending

We loved it here. It was raining the whole time we stayed and this room was so cosy. The minibar was really thoughtfully stocked and reasonably priced; when we arrived late on Sunday nowhere was open so we ate the crackers and cheese from the minibar for dinner! The shower was also really powerful which we didn't expect.

We loved the outside space but it would've been nice to have a sense of separation from the room next door, just a bamboo wall or some big plants maybe? You are looking straight into eachothers faces otherwise haha. It also means we feel like we can keep the doors open when we go to bed which is nice when it's a bit humid or the rain sounds beautiful.

Top rate service and the design is beautiful.great breakfast with a lovely dining room and classical music.great location.

A very cozy room. Let me be clear about this statement --- the word "cozy" is often misused when it is inserted as a catch-all cover for smallness since the reviewer cannot think of something else to say. Not the case here! While the Hotel Pegasus' rooms are indeed small this smallness, together with how its selective use of room furnishings, makes for an enjoyable and intimate stay. Then too, our room had French Doors opening onto a large and comfortable deck seating area merging the outside with the inside. The availability of an excellent breakfast should not be overlooked and precluded.Easy free parking is a perk.

Room did not have air conditioning but this is somewhat understandable given that retrofitting to install could be difficult.

People were very kind and friendly.

Although the owners were very kind, the room was unacceptably small, even to accommodate two people. The toilet shower was triangular and barely fit a tall man in and out. You had to close the glass shower screen to get out of the bathroom. And the bed, was only accessible for one person (2-bed) as both sides rested against the wall. Just because it is a traditional house, decorated with care, that doesn't mean it is necessarily functional for a family to stay in 2024.

Very authentic hotel, the staff dresses according to the time the hotel was built (1896), service was accordingly. Same with breakfast where staff served us in a 19 th century style. All was elegant and helpful. Owner was very accommodating and communicative. Could not ask for better. Location is superb close to the palace and the Parks.

Bikes had to be left outside, I suggest a bike room in the house as there seem to be a lot of cyclists.

Location was good. Beautiful street, quiet, and can walk to main shopping streets on Apeldoorn in 5 minutes. Free parking. Staff was friendly.l and communicative.Check in was easy

Outdated, pillows were awful, bed could be better. If you are tall it is difficult taking a shower and moving around room without hitting your head.
