Fletcher Hotel Het Veluwse Bos

Good location, great restaurant, very pleasant staff and I have stayed there previously.

Corridor to my exterior room had water dripping through the roof as repairs and redecoration not yet undertaken. Ramp in the corridor to the external door was uneven and bowed so not comfortable to walk over

Helpful friendly staff. Especially a very nice, smiling, nice bespectacled receptionist! I especially thank him for his kindness. Excellent and friendly, nice clean place. ?

room with small bathroom, but perfectly fine for us. it's very close to the forest, we jumped out of bed and went for a run in the forest.

Location is good. Closer to office.

Bathrooms are too small. Very little space to manage everything

the room is extremely small for such price; the TV lights and clock are on all the time, impossible to find the socket to turn it off for a proper sleep

Pleasant area

Bathroom sink too small and no provision for breakfast for early weekend leavers even though they have paid for breakfast

Free parking and the Hotel was in a good position, the bed was comfortable.

The room was old, with stained ceilings and poorly designed storage. The entrance to the room was dark, needed cleaning and was not up to a three-star hotel standard. However, my room! No kettle, no coffee, no tea. I am 6'4, and the shower is the bath against a sloping edge to the roof; I could not stand up in it; even someone who was 6ft would not be able to! I had to kneel for a shower. There were yellow marks in the bath and on the edges. Radiator hasnt been attended to for waht looks like years. How anyone is expected to shower is unbelievable. I stay in many Fletcher hotels, and this has not been a good experience; it's a shame as it's a great location. See the pictures attached. The door handle in the first entrance has not been cleaned for years, see photo, I had to wash my hands before leaving and arriving at the hotel. Disappointing to say the least.

Great location, good bar and food.

Some rooms are close to the road and no air conditioning so a bit noisy when hot weather and windows open. That said, the road is not busy and the fan in the room is easily enough to drown out any traffic. I slept fine!

Good location, good value. The staff were really good.

The bathroom was a little on the small side

Staff are EXCELLENT! They also gave us a free upgrade and made our stay superb ! We arrived very late and found an envelope with the keys and all details in the security box.

Everything is perfect for a stay when visiting Apeldoorn. Beautiful street connected well to the centre by busses. The room was of a good size, spotless clean ! Comfortable beds and good size bathroom.

No lift, stairs are steep, nightmare taking luggage up and down No phone in roomFood service ends early but that’s the Netherlands in particular not just the hotel

I liked when I left the place....

Very bad customer service, really dirty place.I will suggest a terrace cleaning. The rooms are noisy, no good lights, dirty carpet (insects on it)No breakfast for.3.days as the not provide an early breakfast or at least a packed lunch as was paid for.We have told the owner in the end about the experience...looks like he doesn't care...just a simple "bye"

Room was cosy and the bathroom was nice. Beautiful neighbourhood.

Small inconveniences such as noisy neighbours in the area, the trash can in the room wasn’t emptied. Bit pricy, but I suppose that just happens to be on par for Netherlands.

the beds seemed to have a very soft mattress, but we slept well. The room was clean. It is in a very nice environment.

The parking area is limited. The plumbing of upstairs can be heard occasionally, but not very disturbing.

Both the bedside lights were not working . They fixed one for me but the other one I had to unscrew in order to turn off

Restaurant; not a big menu, so I expect they can deliver your choice. Several ingredients were not available.Room; too cold (due to working progress?)Bathroom; not clean enough. Not good ventilation (mold?)

Hotel layout and location, good breakfast.

Menu’s in English rather than scanning with phone, much easier with written menu.

Road noise

The shower floor was slippy and the room was very small fir ghe money that I paid
