    Pros +

    • The staff were just fantastic. All so friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. Every single staff member without exception was friendly and helpful.
    • Hotel is located in a great position on the promenade easy access. It has a wow factor when you walk in the front doors, huge spacious reception, lots of large general seating areas, quiet games area (card games that kinda thing), tv for football matches. Rooms - imacculately clean, spacious, large balconyBreakfast - very large busy breakfast dining room. Buffet style counters - lots of choice. Hot food, pastries/cakes, fruits.
    • LocationFood

    Cons -

    • Check In - was quite lengthy - 20 mins by the time our information was manually keyed into their computer system - could this not be quicker? Scan of passports instead?
    • The restaurant was grossly UNDERSTAFFED.The servers were expected to serve drinks, take payment and clear and clean tables. They were grossly OVERWORKED.Very sad to see that Melia prefers PROFIT over the health of its employees.
    • - we stayed in room 1835 (8th floor of Don Pablo): unfortunately there was a regular noise from one (or more) of the elevators (when these stopped at one of the floors). Probably this annoying noise can be heard in several rooms. For Don Pablo Management - if you could do something to get rid of this noise it would be great- especially at breakfast times the elevators are very busy; there are 4 elevators in total at Don Pablo, but one of them is not "connected" to the others; I think it could be an idea to link this elevator as well, so that when you press the elevator call button the nearest of the 4 will stop at your floort

    - Breakfast was good- Staff was very helpful and friendly- Room area was quite comfortable- Balkony was really good- Evening shows - Staff was cleaning the room on each day without even requesting them

    - They were charging for every minor thing, something I have never experienced in any other hotels.- If you want to change the pool towels, you have to pay 1 EUR per towel each time (shame on you!).- No vanity kit in the room (shame on you!).- If you want to have a kettle in the room, you have to pay extra 16 EUR (shame on you!).- I had already paid a tremendous amount money for dinner, but for a bottle of water I had to pay separately (shame on you!).- There wasn’t a lock on the bathroom door; each time we were inside, we had to remind our toddler: “Do not open the door!”- The sheets were not very clean; we noticed some red stains even after they had been washed.- I always had to keep ChatGPT in my pocket, because the staff wasn’t familiar even with very basic English words besides the receptionists , which were familiar with only basic English and it was very hard to understand them. - No basic shoe cleaning kit in the room !

    The pools and the location

That you get one towel as part of your entire stay. If you change the towel you are charged. For an expensive hotel that is miserable. I found the breakfast to be only mediocre. Nothing special. All quite bland.

Our room was a standard size with normal amenities. including a fridge & balcony...which we really enjoyed!!! Included breakfast was extensive with many choices & stations. The Mediterranean was well within walking distance & it was wonderful to walk along it's shore. Very relaxing & enjoyable ?

Parking!!! I received very poor directions that wasted too much time going around this large & busy complex. The breakfast room was VERY BUSY at 8:30am during our stay!!

Friendly and helpful staff, great location close to good restaurants and bars, facilities were good.

    No complaints.

Good food and friendly stafffLocation was good

Was with a disabled relative. The doors, out to the veranda was possible but only just. Not a lot of space.

    Enjoyed our weekend

The hairdryer didn’t work. We ate lunch at the pool side restaurant and the service was really slow. Disappointed

If it is raining, the cellar is partially closed, but the collegues do their best solving the problem

At checking in collegues from the desk dont mentioned how the towel process works but after the first spa day we ask the other guests and then the desk helped out!

    6AndresPosted on: 10-28-2024

Good variety of food in the breakfast. Kids had fun in the evening events. Good location, nice beach nearby.

The entire complex doesn’t feel particularly welcoming and kid friendly. The “family room” is very small for a 4 person family and lacks a balcony. Lunch and dinner not very good and rather low quality. We often ate out although we had paid for the food in the hotel.

Swimming pool area was clean, cos it was less people due to its weather, it was sunny but too cold to swim, temperature was 22c, but the swimming pool water was freezing. It was clean, even room and swimming area. Well manage. Good WiFi . That’s all

Please don’t book full board here. There is no any still water included , u have to buy every single meal still water or drinks , it was already over 20euros. Food was buffet , quality of food is not good enough compare with how much we pay. Always there is grilled fish which has smell, doesn’t look fresh, no enough vege selection, quality is similar with tesco cakes or travellodge. Every facility u need deposit of cash. Surprisingly even room doesn’t have complimentary water. Full of retirepeople . Night entertain was awful. We had more choice of cheaper deal other resort but expected better service with food and facilities here so booked but it wasn’t . Every thing is needed additional charge. It’s better to take taxi and go out for dinner. U r in Spain but there is no good Spain food in your included meal. Even no any delicious salami. No juice or tea or coffee except breakfast.taxi from airport by Uber is cheaper than pre booked by booking .com. We were sooo bored at staying here. Especially food , having at outside restaurant is better and cheaper.Toilet there is no toothbrush or shaver, but it’s clean

    7MelindaPosted on: 10-27-2024

    Good location

Water in swinningpools to cold , in room some missing items e.g. Body lotion, coffee making facility etc.

    8LindaPosted on: 10-25-2024

Clean and comfortableGood breakfast choices Nice indoor pool, cold pool outside

They charged an extra 30 euros a day for a bike which was u aware of when booking Reception staff not very friendly

All is Perfect!! VERY GOOD Hotel for romantic. Crazy sunrise in pastel colors over the sea and all this from the balcony. Gentle sea with a great beach. The pool complex is amazing. The staff is professional, very polite, correct. Breakfast is a full bowl for all tastes. Cleanliness - respect! The location is excellent!!! Nearby there are supermarkets, bars, restaurants. We had a super trouper time! We will definitely come back.

    No yet any mistake.

didn’t like the shower…. no handrail s for bath….shower to modern and clumsy……

Hotel itself was great, excellent location, lovely pools & plenty of sunbeds, room was clean & spacious, housekeeping team was great & very friendly, entertainment was good. Breakfast was great. Dinner was ok.

During dinner service the restaurant team seemed to struggle with the volume of people. They were having to rush around/working very hard getting drinks & clearing tables which often resulted in a bit of a wait for drinks to artive or tables to be cleared.

    8O'brienPosted on: 10-17-2024

The hotel is large and lovely. incredibly well-liked there! A short distance from the beach!Although the building's side hid the sun from our balcony, the room had a nice view of the sea.

Every morning, most people cover the sunbeds with towels while they are gone for a few hours!Although the breakfast areas were packed. the food was delicious.

    8MalcolmPosted on: 10-15-2024

Plenty of sunbeds. Good service from friendly staff. Ability to dine outside. Good quality food.

Long wait at checkin even as independent traveller. Pay extra for kettle in room. Normally included with this rating hotel. Then difficult to get coffee sachets. As an independent, single traveler this hotel was quite expensive.
