Hotel Años 50

Very modern and attractive, cool theme. I was only there for a late-night stopover so didn’t get to fully explore, but aesthetically it was very nice. Staff at reception was very friendly and welcoming. Free parking is a plus.

The shower head was leaking a lot and needs to be replaced (otherwise water pressure was great). I didn’t like that I only got one small towel about the same size as the bath mat, so had to use the same small towel to shower, wash my hands, etc. Also it would have been nice to have had at least a paper cup in the bathroom for drinking water, especially as I arrived very late at night and had no access to any drinks. Also there was a couple very loudly “enjoying each other’s company” with accompanying music next to my room, which was right next to the lobby — luckily I brought ear plugs with me so was able to block it out, but I was surprised that the reception staff didn’t intervene and tell them to keep it down.

The Staff were very helpful

On entering the room, the smell of smoke was like you were going to sleep in an astray.The Jacuzzi in the room seemed like a good idea until the room above us started theirs at 3am in the morning and started a party for several other people for the next 2 hours. The room next to us had their own party from midnight until 3am.So, not a lot of sleep was had for us, the night before a long haul flight.Not happy

Some noisy people in corridor despite signs but this isn’t the hotel fault

It was very noisy during the night - people were so loud and kept coming in and going out. But what we disliked the most - the staff didnt seem to try and be quiet as well - it was full on noise, lound stomping, laughing and so on. And we are talking about very late night, past midnight and later. So no good sleep.

really good prices for a lovely couple experience. the rooms are very clean; the staff us wonderful, they have a bar open until late, and an overall very enjoyable experience.

the only thing is the location, it’s a bit out of the way up a large hill but fortunately have a supermarket right next door. we’ve stayed a few times before and the other downside is that the rooms are NOT soundproofed and we could even hear the neighbours snoring.

Other guests were noisy during the night and it echoed throughout the hotel.Room didn't look like it had been serviced properly as there was a half used bottle of complimentay shampoo.

Some This isn't a place I'd recommend, especially for families with young children.

My stay at this hotel was uncomfortable, especially for a family environment. There were frequent visitors to the property who made it feel less like a traditional family-friendly hotel and more like a place suited to other types of activity. I’d recommend looking elsewhere for a family-appropriate stay

It got a hot tub inside the room and I wanted to try, good for couple. Helpful staffs, boil water for me to make tea morning and night, keep the milk in their chiller.

Toiletries was poor standard. Bed sound proof I can hear noise from other people clearly sometime enjoyable.

The room was spacious and the bathroom adequate

I was in room 1 so noisy returning guests in the middle of the night woke me up. My room was also not serviced. Language barrier was a problem as well

The room was comfortable and the people on check-in and out were nice

We came back to the hotel and went to the bar for a drink, the person who served me was quite rude and abrupt, I asked for the menu which he gave me and then went on to say they didnt have most of it. I ordered a bottle of beer and a glass of wine, the beer was €4.50 very expensive, we ate elsewhere. On our return we went to bed to find that most of the night the noise from people was horrendous, we were kept awake most of the night. In the morning when we went for our showers the shower door sounded like it would break if we opened it fully. I would not stay there again.

Staff were very nice, there is a lovely well-stocked bar and some nice seating areas outside. The bed was very comfortable.

Decor in the room was a shabby and not particularly clean. The website said that breakfast was available - but it wasn’t (only coffee). Not great value for money.

Not a lot

We booked this hotel due to its close proximity to Malaga having arrived later in the evening to rest up before driving to Seville the following day on the 1st part of our Honeymoon and ended up with no rest whatsoever!We were kept awake by a group of drunk Spanish idiots ( yes Spain has drunks) who were shouting, laughing and playing music which can be heard as though they were in the room with us. As this continued and obviously the receptionist hadn't asked this group to keep the noise down I got up at 2:30am and complained, the receptionist apologised and went and asked this group to be quiet but all it done was make them worse, banging doors and talking at the top of their voice in the corridors.At 3:30 am it got so unbearable that we felt we had little choice but to leave.The receptionist apologised but said that he had concerns that this group may turn violent towards him if he asked them to leave, which I kind of understand but he had continued to serve them alcohol from the bar which is 24hrs knowing how drunk and loud they were and surely he could of got another member of staff in or called the police to remove them. With no other room available we left with a hotel phone number written down by the receptionist telling me to call this number and make a claim for our money back, a couple of days later dialling this number only for it to be a taxi.I have tried to phone but they don't pick up and I have emailed them but no response.Do not stay in this hotel if you are looking to rest before or after your flight as I guess it would be the only reason to stay in this hotel as you will not get any.

I was looking forward to our stay here but on the way to the accommodation they emailed to say they had cancelled our reservation as it had not accepted my payment method ... it was stored on Booking.com but they had lost the details ... receptionisti spoke to could not speak Englishwhich is not normally a problem but her colleague was not on shift until 4pm ... to rebook through the Booking.com site would have been nearly £100 more per night ... thankfully Airbnb sorted us as booking.com customer service were severely lacking

Evening staff very accommodating even after I complained about a male using Ladies toilets in reception, sorted immediately.

Arrived at 12.30 couldn’t check in till 2, not very busy at hotel and usually staff check to see if room is ready to check in early, had 2 drinks at bar while waiting short changed on first round, draught beer was awful, room was clean but very dated. Good walk to centre but we like walking.

Near to airport. Interesting decor. Good price. Very clean. 24 hour reception. Bar open late.

Restaurant was closed - admittedly we were quite late arriving at around 10pm. We were offered a pizza which was OK but not the Spanish meal we hoped for. No Verdejo wine left so we think we were upsold an expensive Sauvignon Blanc at 35 euros. There was only 1 small towel in bathroom and when we asked for bath towels there were only 2 more small towels given to us.

The room was nice, luxury style for a first view. Also rest of the hotel. We spent there only one night before a flight.

Luxury feeling spoiled the second view to battered old furniture, faucet in bathroom was alluding to a sink when you turn the tap. And we slept only 2 hours because some undisciplined guest shouted in a corridor and he slammed a door all night. Miss at the reception didn't speak English.

Don't believe any of the good comments here!!!!!They are all fake reviews!!!!!This is a red light hotel!!!!!!!!!!How dare they accept a family booking with 2 young children!!!The rooms have no sound isolation what so ever. And the surroundings it doesn't feel safe at all. At the entrance there were weed smoking call girls. We actually booked 3 rooms, one for my in-laws and the other two for my family. In these surroundings we found it unsafe to split up and stayed in one room with 4 person's. Which we also told the receptionist. Moments later we heard her checking out the room and then a guy and a sex worker entered our other room. They begin play hard music en begin sex shouting and crash!how can you let other customers order prostitue in the Midnight 3o'clock!!!!!!!!!they playing very hard music and make very loudly sex shouting !!!!the receptionist also heard this noise!!! The most terrible thing is not only one room like this. There are at least 3 rooms together sex shouting!!!!!!!!when I complain to the worker, she told me that there are lots of children come here. They are very popular for family with children!!!!!!!!!who believes that!!!!!!

Staff were very loud at 6 am preparing breakfast. Probably because our room was closest to their work.

The room had very romantic lighting and was tastefully decorated! The bed was a fantastic size and very comfy! Although a lovely feature the spa bath was very difficult to get in and out of

The step into the bath, perhaps textured tiles on the step would of made it less slippy
