Hotel Nautilus

The motel/hotel is located on the lake shore, on a beautiful place. The terrace overlooks the lake. Silence and peace.The room is not too big, but it was the only place in Italy where I found the pillow good. A long and nice beach belongs to the hotel, with sun beds, facilities where you can eat, or drink a good beer from the bar.Parking is safe.

Except the boss, the staff can't speak English well. Even booking.com indicates a restaurant on place, this restaurant is more than simple, you may select only pastas, 3-4 types maximum.The closest real restaurant is several km far from Nautilus. In my opinion this information should be make more accurate by booking.com.Breakfast is not too rich, but the biggest problem is the speed of refilling the emptied plates. (salami, bread etc.)

Location is perfect!! The room is exactly on the lake. The place is so quiet. The view is amazing. The staff is so supportive and generous!

Kettle in room to make tea please

The location. Garden furniture adjacent to lake como really comfortable.Room good,deco really nice, bed comfortable.Views from balcony superb.

No drinking glasses in room to have a drink of water.No kettle.Breakfast, barely adequate especially for the overall price.Local bus service is totally unreliable neither times at the bus stop or on line were correct.Local roads very scary ,narrow ,width varies.Worst stretch of road since leaving England.There was no restaurant when we stayed so you had to leave the hotel to eat.They offered food which we accepted on our first night,grossly overpriced for what it was obviously cooked in the microwave. Hungry Bull in Onno BRILL but it is along the 2.4 kilometres of scary stretch of road.

Location was amazing Staff were fabulous Owner and staff went above and beyond to accommodate our late arrival and many other situations

Fabulous location on the shore of the lake with private beach. The staff were all very friendly and did everything to make our stay a good one.

The breakfast was a little basic but it was sufficient.

A very, very beautiful place, and I expect it to be the best place in Italy. The owner of this place is a very great, kind, and friendly person. His manners and treatment are very nice. He deserves all the praise. The place is very beautiful, and he deserves to live in it during your entire vacation.

This motel is like an old vessel kept alive with new coats of paint. Unfortunately, this will not fix the phonic and thermic insulation issue and the age of the building. Cold room and freezing breakfast room. Experience not worth the price paid, even if affordable for the region.

Owner. Location. Easy access, parking, everything. It also had a full restaurant. Served a full dinner that night. Local stuff, cooked fresh, on site. Filled with local, (not all guest). Food we the best, authentic dinner. I felt like I was eating at a locals someones kitchen table.

Could not fault this hotel. We will definitely go back. Most relaxed location I have stayed on Lake Como. I could have sat in the grounds all day watching the lake. So so tranquil and peaceful. The owner is a fabulous gentleman and his dog is lovely. Could have taken him home.

The location is uniqueA big park with a lot of cozy corners, a long beach with chairs.Everywhere you can find pieces of old boat furniture and vintage motorboats.An old-fashioned, definitely fascinating setting.

I suggest to put a fridge in the rooms, to enrichbreakfast and to provide a bar service on the beach

the rooms were a bit dated, but very clean, so that's fine. we were not allowed to use thE AC.

the views of the lake from the rooms is exceptional- the seating areas around the property offer superb views - we liked the nautical theme, the owner was very attentive and has some boat and bike memoribilia which was interesting to see.

Breakfast choice was very basic but it was all fresh- and only a comment about the location.. there is no resturant for evening food so we had to go out in taxi to lecco. This was good going but we found it difficult to find a taxi back. A suggestion-maybe the hotel could offer some local take away services to allow food to be delivered as we would have been happy to stay by the lake and buy more drinks from the hotel.

Astonishing location for breakfast. The beach is beautiful and exclusive for hotel guests only.Swimming in the water of lake Como should be on everyone's bucket list

It was hard to leave, but we will return. A bit more serious, there is a good balance between the vintage accommodation, however well maintained, with the abundance of the beautiful gardens, terrace and view on the lake and mountains.

Booked with breakfast but nothing the first day...probably they forgot it.On sunday was ok, breakfast very good.
