Pros +
- The location was beautifully set within the castle outer courtyard and a very short walk from the center of the old city.
- The hotel itself was fun and different from most hotels. Great atmosphere
- Nice Castle hotel, conveniently located. Walking distance to restaurants, shops and attractions. The hotel itself is one of the attractions of town. Breakfast is ok. Rooms are clean. We stayed in a spacious room with a nice bathroom. Second floor rooms, no elevator (it is an old building), so keep in mind there will be stairs if that is an issue.
Cons -
- Friendly and helpful staff! We just mentioned as an aside that we were celebrating our anniversary and they had flowers with a small bottle of bubbly wine on the breakfast table in the corner away from other guests.
- Keys to the rooms were a pain.Rooms were a little warm at night
- No one to welcome us at check in, was told the hotel was closed (we arrived 18.20, last check in should be at 19.00). Had to contact café staff to call convince them to let us in. No hot water at the room and no heat. Freezing.
