Air conditioner broken

A hotel with a good location. It's situated just near the port, making it easy to get around and explore the area. The breakfast offered at the hotel was simple, but the quality of the products was good. There were both sweet and salty options available, so there was something for everyone. The hotel itself has an old-style, but it was clean and comfortable. Overall, I would say that this hotel is a great option for those who are looking for a good quality-price ratio.

Not happy

Communication with the hotel through Booking.com was poor. They asked for an extra EUR5 charge for the twin room, even though I had booked the same through the website. I had the wrong dates through the Booking.com site and responded to the hotel's message requesting to change them, but they ignored the message/request. They emailed the following day to say I would be charged for the 'no show' but again did not respond to me message.

The property is frontline to the sea, the view from our room are amazing!

The shower is a bit small, some equipment is outdated

The gym is small, for real gym rate the VitaLiberte is little over ten mins walk away, nice warm-up :)

Not really working air conditioning. No net on the windows. So, a quite warm and busy whit mosquitos night.

Hotel Neptune has a good location at the entrance of Propiano, parking is available behind hotel (watch out: small spaces). Friendly receptionist who speaks English. Very clean impression and quiet during the night. Mechanical shutters ensure a dark room and keep the sun out. Mini fridge in room. Beach, supermarket(s), restaurants/bars in the center of Propiano at walking distance.Good bakery with tables in- and outside offering fresh croissants, coffee and other products at 150 meters in the direction of Cipiniellu.

When we checked-in we heard that the receptionist asked the cleaning person something about the shower in the room… we did not exactly understand the conversation. But that evening we found out that the shower in our room did not drain and overflowed with brown slurry already after a short shower. When we complained about this rather disgusting experience the only solution offered was to use the shower of the SPA in the basement because the hotel was fully booked. When we did not accept this we have been offered to move to another hotel, at 20:00 and at the moment we already fully unpacked and were about to enjoy dinner in town? No, thank you!The attitude of the manager ‘It is not my fault!’ (…is it the fault of the guest?) and ‘it was fixed this morning’ resulted in a phone call with Booking. They agreed with us that the situation was unacceptable and solved the problem for us.Our room was from another century and not specially welcoming. We also noticed later that the double bed in our room was actually advertised for 180 cm although it was only 160 cm wide, furthermore the internet was extremely slow.No, unfortunately Hotel Neptune did not fulfill our expectations of a normal 3-Star hotel and we will not book here again.

Convenient location and on-site parking. Nice view from window on sea side. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
