Hotel Gösser Bräu

A new appartement in the downtown.

Parking could be a nightmare. The garage was. We were lucky tgat we could find finally a free parking pace in front of the hotel.

Good location, local restaurant

Need some reparation, more cleaning and a bit of better taste.

Flexibility with arrival, cleanliness, quality of furniture.

Upgraded to a lovely apartment which was super nice.The food in the hotel was delicious and a good choice of beers.Breakfast was lovely and a good start to the day.

All was excellent, we will be back.

What I loved most was the atmosphere of the restaurant and hotel, the sense of local history and tradition. The staff was committed to ensuring positive memories. We had no problems storing our bikes in the underground garage. The rooms were clean, and the breakfast was good.Well-kept beer garden :)

The room is clean, three beds so our child can sleep in its own bed. Sound insulation is ok. It is near the center of Wels. It has covered parking. Restaurant is just on the ground floor. Breakfast is fresh. Staffs are professional and efficient.

None. I would recommend this hotel for any family. Certainly will come back if I go to the area again.

Only booked for one night on our way to Budapest. When we arrived after walking from the train station we were upgraded to an apartment much to our surprise! We hadn't eaten so we were pleased to find they have a restaurant. The food was excellent

The property has a character. Old building but nicely refurbished. Despite the beer garden and the main road looking windows it was quite at night. Because of the two locked door ( room and corridor door), we felt safe.

The dining area was a bit shabby. But at the end of the day it served its purpose.

We had 2 rooms @ only stayed for one night, but we had a wonderful stay. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice. The location was perfect for a walk through the city center. Very kind staff. In short, highly recommended

We had to call the front desk receptionist twice in order to help us 1. find the building (because the instructions were not clear) and 2. open the door.

Welcoming reception staff, great breakfast and parking possible. Close to the old town. Quiet rooms with air conditioning.

The receptionist gave me a number to open the garage from the garden but it turned out to be a completely different number.

It is an Old Building, but Looks very good. In garden you can take your breakfast and it is very nice.

The street in front of the hotel was closed due to maintenance which caused us to be deviated around the city to get to the hotel, except the deviation aig s were missing. Only to find out the actual hotel parking was on the other side of the hotel and since we were with a car with a height limit we could not use the parking garage. We communicated extensively about the parking and height; yet they never mentioned the road closure nor the other address to navigate to the hotel surface parking; which would have been good to know in advance when arriving late with kids.

In the appartment there was room enough for 4 people.

There was only one charging box for electrical vehicles and one car occupied this space the whole time, even when charged. The staff did not known who was using the parking space.

Breakfast was fine, there was a basic choice of everything, so I guess every taste should be satisfied (unless you have sensitivities for certain products, in this case you should get in touch with the kitchen ahead of time), the coffee was even very good. The entrance to the hotel area looked a bit old fashioned and and out of time, but then the rooms again were in perfect condition, clean and nice. The location is alright - it wasn't really possible to sleep with an open window, as my room was facing the street, but probably other rooms facing towards the inner yard are calmer.

Maybe only the street in front of the window. But that's totally manageable. Therefore you have a hotel downtown, that's the trade off.

Central location, everything is easy to reach.Nice enterier with history, good workers. Very clean room and bathroom.

Almost everything was OK. I got the room I asked for, the breakfast was OK, I got correct directions. Next year, I would be happy to book an overnight stay. This is a good hotel.

I couldn't give the maximum rating for the front desk staff (I rated the other categories at max), because it would have been useful to have a systematic way of writing back emails. This is the only thing to improve.
