- As I was attending a concert in nearby Codroipo, it was conveniently located… the “Grand” Hotel may have been grand at one time, but it has been let go in maintenance. It was relatively inexpensive.
- It was conveniently located for us. Edi was very welcoming and informative about the hotel and area. The other three staff members, Amberto, Veronica and Anna were very pleasant and helpful. The hotel is old but the rooms were very clean.
- The manager was incredible-- offered us coffee and tea at any time of the day at no charge
Cons -
- Let’s see, where do I start? Check-in is from 3 pm supposedly…I got there at 6 pm and my room wasn’t ready…I waited 20 min for the key. Ok, it can happen… I went to my room which was spacious but unbearably hot…turned on the AC that started blowing air just slightly cooler than the air in the room, with much rumbling noise. I tried to lower the blind on the window to block the sun, and it only went down half way and stopped! I should mention that the bathroom was clean, but the hallway carpet and floor in the room had large stains and have seen better days. I was running late for the concert so I got ready in a hurry but stopped at reception to inform the girl about the shutter not working, which was my main concern since I cannot sleep when it’s bright. She said she would go and fix it, but I could change rooms on my return. When I came back at 1 am the blind was not fixed and I was way too tired to try and pack up to change rooms, since my things were still there (usually when changing rooms the staff helps you carry your stuff to the new room)… so I had the worst night’s sleep in a while, with the AC sounding like a truck engine, blowing lukewarm air, and of course at dawn I was wide awake from the sun! I spoke to the guy at reception to let him know about the broken shutters and he said they don’t have broken shutters! I beg to differ… but he did comp me an ice cream I had bought… so bottom line, make sure everything works when you get to your room. Oh, also, don’t be fooled by the “minibar” sign…it’s just an empty fridge..
- The cooing bird that started a 4:30 am daily.
- The hotel was within walking distance ti central Spilimbergo, staff were very helpful and courteous. The pool was a great addition. Very clean

Easy access. Good breakfast, great staff
Rooms were outdated but functional
a quiet place, parking, friendly staff
uncomfortable bed, breakfast could be better
The location is fine and service good. Liked the swimming pool.
Brakfast was just ok. Rooms are a little bit small and "old", AC not very effective.
Friendly staff. Booking.com gave a better price than to book right away in the hotel. We booked with booking.com, but there was some kind of mistake. Hotel’s staff helped to solve the problem. Refunded us the difference right away. We booked 2 rooms. One of them has intensive chlorine smell. Hotel’s stuff moved us to another fresh room at once. They also gave us boiling water late at night for our drinks :)
Lovely hotel, nice clean pool, with plenty of choice for breakfast. The staff for absolutely amazing, they were incredibly helpful, nothing we asked was too much trouble. We can’t wait to go back !
We have got what we expected!A Nice swimming pool on a hot day. In walking distance from the town and restaurants.Very nice stuff must be pointed out!Tasty breakfast with good☕ and fresh brioche.
Nice and quiet location. Pool was fine.
Strange smell in the room.
The staff was friendly and helpful with everything. The price includes both the pool and breakfast, both of which were excellent. The town is quiet and not too touristy, but also really small.
We were supposed to have a double bed, but we received separate beds that were not very comfortable. The hallway was not very clean, but the room was okay.
The receptionist was very kind, she held the pool open for us although it should have been closed in the evening.
All the staff was amazing. The hotel itself is very outdated. you can see that in pictures but in reality, it's even more outdated. has funny old smell especially after Air con was turned on.We paid way to much for what we got. Breakfast also was very disappointing - not even one hot meal choice.
Nice staff, good location
Not comfortable bathroom & room
Extremely clean! Nice location, walking distance to food and attractions.Unique style. Spacious. Great staff. Good breakfast.
The window kept popping open, I had to tie the shutter's rope to keep it closed. The shower did not drain fast, resulting in a puddle around your feet.
+The Staff was very nice to us. Thank you :)+Good breakfast.+Bicycles.+Pool

Nice family room with two bedrooms.Good breakfast.
Hallway carpet was very poor and hallway smells badly for smoke.Pool was closed 7pm to 10 am, so we couldn’ t use it at all. And this information wasn’t mentioned before we already booked the place. Children were very disappointed for that.
Room clean, Pool very clean, Breakfast poor. Staff very nice. Location great.
Breakfast could have more variation. Coffee Maschine need to be exchanged for better coffee quality.
Quiet location, 10-15 min walk to the town center, easy parking, nice pool (open 10 am to 7 pm), clean and spacious rooms, good breakfast (the choice is not extraordinary but sufficient). The town is nice - a couple of cafes, bars and restaurants, many wineries around in the region for wine tasting.
Nothing in particular. We heard the bells ringing from the nearby church at 7 am, not sure whether this was a special occasion or whether this is regular, but in any case quite early during summer (July) when most people are in a holiday regime and want to sleep longer.
The location was excellently situated in a leafy residential area and yet only a 5-minute walk from a fantastically nice town full of shops and restaurants.Breakfast was a good continental breakfast. Everything was fresh and constantly replenished. For Italian standards a very extensive breakfast choice. The hotel has a lovely garden with a fantastic swimming pool with plenty of sun loungers. The pool was kept very clean. The pool also had a small terrace where she served drinks and a small snack. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful, including when booking a table in a restaurant and advising where to buy wine. The room was kept thoroughly clean every day and the bed linen was changed very regularly. The room had good air conditioning that was easy and understandable to operate. In short, higly recommended!
The restaurant only opens for special occasions, but we knew that beforehand. And there are plenty of restaurants in the town,
