Hotel STELLA D'ORO

Slightly old fashioned feel to the hotel but ideal. Good breakfast including ham and cheese and a good selection of warm pastries brought to the table. About 5 or 10 minutes walk to the old town centre.

Breakfast was very good! I even got Gluten Free products every day. Very nice staff/family and good Coffee :)

The people really looked after us and were always pleasant & accommodating. It's a short walk from the centre of Spilimbergo so we could have a drink and walk home without the need for transport

Breakfast could be better. Italian breakfasts are of the continental variety so rarely cooked but it would have been nice for instance to get a really good Italian coffee. Instead it comes from a machine - which is by UK standards, very nice but by the standards of coffee in Italy only so-so.

The mosaic school in this town is fantastic.

Bed linen: In winter, one thin sheet is provided. On top of the sheet there is a bedspread without a duvet cover. I immediately became allergic to a household mite. I also felt terribly uncomfortable due to the fact that I had to cover myself with a shared blanket, which was unclear when it was cleaned. And it didn't have any duvet cover on. In general, I tried not to be in the room, as it was uncomfortable for me.

Friendly staff, amazing breakfast and dog-friendly!

It's an older hotel and the infrastructure reflects that (unfortunately) but the place was clean and tidy.

The bathroom was very cold because of the ventilation

The staff were very helpful and kind. The breakfast was nicely served and the yogurt was stored in a mini fridge. This hotel might feel better on hot rather than cold days.

We didn’t find the room very cosy and it was very cold, especially bathroom. The hot air pump didn’t do much and when we turned it off, the room got cold straight away. The room was completely tiled and cold, and blankets too thin. We couldn’t sleep much because of that.

Amazing attitude of the hotel staff. The owner of hotel was working at the reception and helped us with everything we needed. Amazing attitude he tried to book taxi for us, he told us about local restaurants and he was very helpful. In the price is included breakfast, which was also very good. I can only recommend this hotel.

Quality of the bathroom, especially the shower. Basic design of the room. Basic breakfast with limited pastries (e.g. 2 croissants for 3 persons, served on room dedicated breakfast table...), poor quality ham/ cheese and no vegetables at all

Not fancy but very nice and clean place with a great central location, not far from a bus station. The staff is very kind and friendly. The choice for breakfast is excellent.
