Pros +
- Room was clean and comfortable and location very convenient with reach to a number of restaurants and shops. Beautiful park next to the hotel was a bonus.
- Fair
- Location was close to my activity
Cons -
- I am English speaking and found that the hotel had limited TV channels in English.
- The worst fitness room in a hotel. Only one treadmill, only one elliptical. The hour that you can workout is a joke, only between 8 am through 8 pm. If my purpose of staying here was to work, how could I use the academy?
- The AC never got cold. It's either too small for the room or it hasn't been serviced in a while.

Big roomExcellent breakfast. You can make espresso for breakfast which is not common in Brazil. Good location. There are different opinions on that matter in reviews, and the area is full of homeless and simply dubious people indeed. However, during my stay the police car was parked opposite the hotel so I felt safe even at dark. There are lots of Asian restaurants and takeaways nearby. There are two metro stations 10 minutes away from the hotel.
The room and facilities are old and need an upgrade. Not all receptionists speak English.
very nice room , nice breakfast, very nice staff , everything was Good except the security area
there are a lot of homeless around the hotel so it’s not secure area
amazing stuff helpful especially Luciana , nice breakfast, very good value price ,
only homeless people in the front of hotel and some people not feel secure
stuff , clean , breakfast, comfortable , location
homeless in the street , smell im the street , not secure area
Excellent hotel. Great breakfast, lovely staff and the best caipirinha!
Big room, friendly staff, quiet area next to Koreatown
There are homeless people outside
The Breakfast and food from the restaurant was excellent. The location to the sporting event that I was attending was good.I had no idea Sau Paulo was crime city, I heard gunshots at night and there where lots of homeless people on the streets.I felt safe in the Hotel however.
Sau Paulo, the city
The breakfast was absolutely wonderful. The front desk folks were very helpful in helping us and answering our questions given that we didn't speak much Portuguese.
There wasn't really anything that we didn't like.
Friendly and helpful staff. Big room. Great breakfast. Dinner in restaurant was good, but could have more options of sauces, salads and more.
Nothing the hotel can do, and I felt safe inside, but the location is at the border to cracolandia, and there was a lot of homeless and drug addicts outside. During the day it's relatively safe, but you can't walk outside after dark. Taxi or Uber is the only option to leave the hotel at night.
It is a clean hotel. TV set was not ok.
Gym was closed by 20h.
Location was very convenient for me. Good breakfast, good room.
The room has a bit of a smoke smell.
Breakfast was excellent but I think rooms should have a kettle, cream and coffee for long working people on the computer night long
The rooms did not have a coffee machine or a kettle with coffee. The refrigerator noise is too much, it wakes people up in certain hours
Poor
Gym, spa and Swimming pool are closed at anytime
Good hotel for the price. Very convenient to the Pinacoteca Museum and Sala Sao Paulo. Just opposite Parque Jardim da Luz. Near Luz Station for metro and rail. Staff helpful and pleasant. Big bed in big room.
Not a great area - many homeless people. I walked around...even at night...and nothing happened. Care required. Taxi and Uber easy to find.
Good breakfast, very welcoming reception staff
Very old linen which we changed because it smelled mouldy but new linen was just the same. Street dwellers / crack addicts live on the sidewalk in front of the hotel - not a safe area to walk around at any time if day. limited room service which was returned as the steak sandwich was as hard as a rock - thanks to iFood we did not starve on the weekend when the restaurant was closed.
Good breakfast and on point customer service
The pool & spa were closed, and the bar close too early.
The stuff was extremely helpfull, they even made us a 1 day sightseeing itinerary. Localtion is also very good, within walking distance from the downtown.
The swimming pool and spa area were under reconstruction, but we didn't have time to use it anyways.
