Tower Hotel Malpensa

This hotel was both economical and conveniently located near Malpensa Airport where I was working for a week. The room was comfortable, not cramped and had all the amenities I needed. The staff was helpful and friendly. Solid breakfast buffet and no City tax. There were no added airport fees for the train, with a stop within walking distance.

There were not a lot of restaurants nearby, but there was an excellent pizza place across the street.

The rooms, beds and general facility are very clean, comfortable and up to date. Everything we ordered for dinner was subpar and I wished we would have just walked across the street to have pizza—it was such a disappointment for both meals ordered. The gentleman at desk was very accommodating and ordered us a taxi to the airport but with his accent it sounded like the cost would be $17, we were shocked to get charged 70 Euros. It is however about an 8 min walk to train station if your flight doesn’t leave too early. They made us a breakfast to go which was kind , but we didn’t eat it because it was packaged/processed items mostly besides the apple and can of water. I would stay again but just not eat dinner in the restaurant nor order a taxi to take us to airport.

The restaurant produced horrible meals and I am not a picky eater. There was a website that stated they offer an airport shuttle but they do not—if you have an early am flight it would be best to stay closer to the airport—there is a Sheraton across the street from the airport.

Comfortable room. Quiet and clean with extra pillows. Staff were very welcoming.

There was a kettle in the room but no cups or tea/ coffee. I had to ask for a cup at the bar.

As like most reviews mention, this is a solid hotel for a really easy trip to Milan's Malpensa Airport. Our flight was cancelled for a day, so we booked this hotel to have a quick trip back to the airport the next morning. It was an easy, 8-minute walk from the train station. Since we had 24-hours, we decided to make the best of it. The friendly and helpful gentleman at the front desk gave us great recommendations for apertivo and dinner, which we enjoyed very much. It was probably a 10-12 minute walk to the charming main piazza of the town. Our room had a view of the mountains and windows that open, which I always appreciate. It was basic but clean and the bathroom had a rain shower in the bathtub. I felt it was a really good value for the modest price. We'd stay there again if we needed something close to the airport.

There was a some mold on the bathtub caulking, but other than that, everything was great.

We booked this hotel because it was convenient to the train station. The staff was friendly and very helpful, the rooms were clean and comfortable, bathrooms also very clean. It was quite modern and had everything we needed. As a mother and daughter traveling together, we felt safe.

Really bad experience

Location was bad , staff weee not friendly , no shuttle even tho it says there was on their description, and the place was not clean at

We had a large comfortable room with a king size bed. Beautiful white hotel sheets. Good shower with good pressure hot water. Large windows which fully opened even though we were on the 6th floor, so good air flow. Key card worked well. A good stay for one night near the airport.

It was a wet night so we decided to eat in the hotel restaurant - big mistake! Though the wait staff were kind and tried to be helpful, the food was truly atrocious. Our stuffed zucchini flower entree were not stuffed with anything so we were served heavily battered doughy 'flowers' which had a very fishy taste, so obviously cooked in old oil. Heavy and very poor. I had ordered a lasagna which when it arrived was noticably small for a main course. I searched for the ragu filling but there was about 1 teaspoonful to be found. There was no cheese, and no bechamel topping. Basically it was layers of stodgy lasagna sheets. It was tasteless and I found it to be inedible. Maybe there was no chef and they microwaved something but I've had better from a frozen packet!Very very disappointing on our last night in Italy. To their credit, we were not charged for the meal, however, I could not recommend the restaurant for an evening meal. The €13 breakfast was better and we enjoyed the selection available.

Staff was very friendly & cleaning staff was accommodating. Clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good with plenty of options.

- the elelavator of parking very slow- the outside area is dark

Very friendly and helpful staff, modern times, private parking underneath the building, also the diner there was fine.

Clean room, friendly staff. Breakfast was good way to start the morning.

The room was clean and the hotel had a front desk that was manned 24 hours. It was close to the train station with a direct line to the airport and there were food restaurants close by.

The air conditioner did not work when we were in the room. We stayed two nights. The weather was very hot. Each evening when we got to the room it was cool, but once we got into the room the fan stayed on but the air conditioning stopped working. The fan worked but it was not blowing cold air. The room grew warmer through the night, in spite of my turning the thermostat as low as it would go. So both nights the room was uncomfortably warm at night, so much so that we had difficulty sleeping. I told the front desk about the situation after the first night but the second night was just the same.

Loved everything EXCEPT the rooms were way too hot at night - temperature could not be adjusted and unfortunately, even though we mentioned this a few times at the front desk and were told that a technician was coming in it did not get resolved. Really liked everything else about the hotel, but it was difficult to sleep at night.

The hotel is 2 stops away from Malpensa.

During my stay here a wallet and an envelope containing cash went missing. I went downstairs to have some wine and was repeatedly told wine cannot be taken back to the room, and I stayed in the hotel bar. Apparently staff was worried I could break the bottle, trip over shattered glass and hurt myself. 1h later when I returned the wallet and the envelope vanished from my backpack. There’s no surveillance camera to look at in the corridors.

Very comfortable room and delicious breakfast.

Need salad and more veggies on their breakfast choices.
