Hotel Vatel 4* Superior

great value, great location, Martigny is a peaceful town and it was great to walk from hotel to the town center

Parking space needs more control. Our car was crashed and there was no security cameras that would help us to prove the damage.

This hotel is the gold standard of high quality staff , rooms and location. Highly reccomended. The restaurant is also 5 stars. Great for cyclists.

Very modern and clean room in good location relative to train station

Pillows (old), marrasses (too soft), noises (from the airing system you hear voices from the other rooms), coffee machine was not working properly (had to press the buttons several times to get the desired quantity)

Beautiful and spatious room, perectly clean. Bathroom was all brand new equipped and clean. Staff was nice and helpful.

The location of the hotel is the biggest drawback, it's not in the centre and located in a more industrial area, with parking lots and big conference buildings. That's a shame!

Rooms where clean and comfortable. Bed and linnen of very high quality.

Location. The hotel is in an industrial zone outside the city far away from.any restaurant or shop . The building is extremely ugly.

The hotel was fine. Met expectations. Found it to be expensive for a small room.

Many of the staff are training at the hospitality school next door and you could tell. Some interactions were super helpful and pleasant, other interactions were challenging and difficult. We lost something super important to us and we weren’t given much help or care.

Hotel is part of a collage campus for the entertainment industry, with staff being trained on the Job , the attention to detail was exceptional and always supervised, don't let this put you off it only adds to the superb level of service

Convenient location. Nice view and pleasant garden. Comfortable and spacious rooms with good shower and great decor. Helpful staff. Parking available.

Clean, quite, fresh

Nice Hotel, quiet and relaxing. Very well kept and run. Comfortable rooms / beds and what a fabulous view. Lots of parking and easy enough to find. very good interactive TV that had all the details for the hotel and menu's.Great restaurant - service and food.

Air conditioning was poor no matter what i did with the settings.

Every little detail and aspect of this hotel is nipped and tucked just so- exceptionally clean, exceptionally well designed, plenty of room, great room layout, very attractive, exceptional bedding and pillows… I could go on…All of this at a price that makes it a really great value. I think they have a unique and secret structure which is that each hotel also serves as a hotel management school. Maybe that’s why they can provide such an exceptional experience at such a reasonable prices .

I can’t think of a single item or suggestion that I would make for something to be done differently

Staff is very friendly, and price is very honest for a 4* in Switzerland. Also, the restaurant is very good.

Convenient stop on the way to the mountains for us, comfortable room, good food in the restaurant, free parking, good quality price, baby cot provided with baby towel, l’occitane toiletries

Rain shower was good, but the regular shower was not the best (pressure and temp control)

Beds were really, truly comfortable. Internal design of the room and bathroom was high-end. Simple but nice touch to name each room after a European city and hang a big photo of a landmark in that particular city in each room. Shower was really nice.

Hotel itself looks (and perhaps even is) a bulky square conference center. Not much charm and warmth from the outside. Its location is in a valley, so very flat around. "Garden- and mountainview" means you also have a highway and industrial area included in the view. The coffee maker machine didn't work properly. Finally, the room rate was pretty high per night (more in the 5* range), but probably because of the seasonality.

Nice hotel and lovely staff, good food options to eat at their restaurant too.
