The Fong Krabi Resort

The room was fine. Basic but clean.

The TV didn't work and the wifi was weak.

Staff went out of their way to please 110%. Breakfast was really good and plenty of it.

My mattress was in need of changing room B3 but still had a reasonable sleep. This was the only negative

The staff were friendly, need to pay for the breakfast but it was good, freshly made egg ommlete. Pool is nice.

Room and bathroom was full of mosquitos. Old apartment didn't felt good there. Bed is hard. It was ok for just one night but couldn't stay longer.

Location OK but you did need transport, staff were very good and helpful.

Pillows were awfull, but they were changed when we asked them to, breakfast was OK but more could be made of it.

The pool area was beautiful . The restaurant staff were great . Room was clean. There is a great little cafe about 2 minutes walk up the road . Delicious food and very fair prices . Other than that there is not a lot around .

The bed was a typical Thai mattress and woke up with a sore back. The TV had only local Thai channels even after trying to change to English settings. We were told our room wouldn’t be ready for an hour after check in time however they gave us another room instead .

We stayed for an afternoon before a late flight back to the uk.Close to the airport, Tony gave us a great welcome and made us comfortable for the afternoon and we ate before leaving.

Staff were lovely pool was nice

Room was full of mosquito and other bugs even a small gecko on the wall one night. I could see it was common in the room where people have squashed mosquito on the walls and they are still there not been cleaned off. That reason I wouldn’t book again

The Fong hotel was a great stay as it was easily accessible to Krabi Town approx. 10minutes by taxi or to Ao Nang approx. 22min by taxi. The room was really nice and the bathroom was simple but functional. The pool was beautiful and although the hotel is located directly at a main highway it was not too noisy. The small restaurant was also great. But the best of it all was the staff team and owner of the Fong. Tony and his team are just simply hospitality in person and made us feel so welcome at the hotel - it felt almost like a home stay.

It is great placeIf you wish to have some time with your partner without crowd and rush i recommend the property.It is little away from beaches but great place with peacefull weather.The owner and staff is so great and owner made food by own on your request.

The distance from beaches and no veg restaurant near by

Very kind and helpful staff, many thanks again. The pool is fantastic. There are some restaurants and one 7/11 by walk. Otherwise you need a scooter, because the town and the beaches are far away. But in fact there is a very quiet accomodation.

You can hear everyone and everything. Its hard to sleep at night. Location is not the best.

it would all be great, if it weren't for the fact that the room wasn't the one in the photos, but a much older one, with a broken shower and dead mosquitoes on the walls. The sheets were stained and above all the staff is not friendly, they try to rip you off cash in every way claiming that the card device is broken (we made it work) forcing you to pay as they want. The resort is very far from the center, and as beautiful as it is it is not worth the price.

Lovely pool. Quiet and relaxed. Able to swim lengths in the morning before a relaxing breakfast.. Toni the owner is lovely as are the staff.

A nice sized room with a small TV. Well away from the road so it was quiet but I imagine some of the closer rooms might have been loud. A decent pool and easy to rent a scooter. Also helpful reception staff to book a taxi to the airport for the early hours. Nice that you get a little airer for clothes, useful when we did our laundry to save on drying!

Pool was nice but the surrounding area isn’t kept overly clean and is overrun with ants and spiders. Not a massive problem as it is to be expected in the area. First room we were given had quite a few ants, we were moved and then didn’t have an issue!

The pictures are way better than the reality. The location is horrible, even for one night it's hard to get a good sleep next to this busy road. Of course I saw where the hotel is located but because it was not much written about the street noise I thought it's well isolated. Well it's not but we had room also quite in the beginning. The coffe cups we needed to clean on our own, there were many aunts walking in the bed, the bathroom is super old and ugly. Towels very old, clean but totally used. We could not sleep well even with earplugs.

Pool was terrible. Supposed to give relief from the heat….was warmer IN the pool.No key for the safety deposit box

The staff is incredible and so nice!

The wifi was not good or not working properly so work can't be done. The toilet and faucet leaked.

The staff are so sweet and friendly! Very helpful also. They definitely are the best thing about the place :)

Lots of ants in the room everything else was fine but not a bad room
