Very beautiful resort in beautiful surroundings. Staff is very friendly.

Airconditions sometimes lived their own life, but nothing critical. Not all the staff speaks decent English, which leaded sometimes to misunderstanding, but they all were very friendly and serviceminded.

limited food and wine service. restaurant was not up to par for what we paid for the hotel stay. only one option for rides into town wasn't accessible.I think they could offer other option for the ride into town.

The over water room was really cool. The pond was unique to feed the fish! Location was good to visit the elephant shelter. Liked that the staff was helpful and assisted when possible. The pool was fantastic and the breakfast was good. The monkeys were really cool to watch and wake up to in the morning!

Did not like the adjoining rooms, could hear the neighbours through the door/walls. At night there were no lights to get back to our room and the door was hard to lock.

The food, the location.

The monkeys. Great location, great terrace and balcony, but you can't use it because of the hoards of monkeys. Especially in the mornings. Quite an unpleasant experience to wake up because of the monkeys running loudly on your roof. First time you can believe that is an earthquake or something terrible.

I think it was amazing, staff are also so friendly and helpful, a bit far from the night market but they have scheduled free shuttle bus, the food was great! However the monkeys are handing outside your room which I find it totally ok! Gives the place an ambiance!

The only thing I can think of that the rooms needs a little upgrade with the finishes and some equipments.

Excellent facilities, rooms and staff. The location is very scenic. We also spotted a few monkeys.

The location is remote - so its not a quick walk to any stores. They do provide free shuttles to AO Nang Landmark - which is around 15-20 min drive.

Service and staff were really good.

The resort needs upgrade. It had areas around that really looked old, had broken swings etc.

This resort has great views, and the staff is very respectful and friendly. The breakfast was amazing and they were very responsive anytime we needed anything for our room. We Loved every moment of our stay here!

If the bathroom had a shower door, it would be less water around the sink as sometimes it takes a while for the water to drain.

The hotel is amazing. It is very beautiful and feels like you are in the nature. Good food and service.

Rooms need a little bit extra cleaning Location is 10 minutes drive from the center. For us it was ok but be aware.

Everything was beyond my expectations!All employees were super nice, the breakfast was delicious, the room was huge and very clean, the location and the view was exceptional. The elephant sanctuary is next door so it is pretty convenient for children.I have nothing bad to say about this establishment.I 1000% recomend this hotel!

Lovely, peacefull resort away from the busy crowds. Beautiful settings with lovely spacious rooms.

Breakfast was the worst we had on our trip so far but maybe that's also personal preference but we even skipped it 2 days out of 3 and went somewhere else even though we payed for it. Monkeys were funny to look at but very noisy in the mornings. The "fitness room" was also more than lacking equipment but if you don't wanna train properly and just wanna move around a little bit you can do.

The facilities are complete inside the room. Very modern and aesthetic.

The monkeys in the balcony early morning are bit scary.

Facilities, Landscape and the Villa was amazing

We stayed for a week. I liked having monkeys around, I liked the pond, and I liked being in the woods in Ao Nang, away from the crowds of Krabi, which was still easy to access. I really liked exploring the beaches and small towns to the north of Krabi. Staff allowed us to park our (necessary) rental motorbike by the room. When my partner dropped her iPhone, as she moved from a kayak to the pier, it landed under 3-4 meters of water. Staff rushed to assist, brought in a diver, who free dived repeatedly for an hour and a half, and retrieved the iPhone, which was still operating. Wow!

Early morning walks included dealing with confrontatational gangs of monkeys, who cede the territory once breakfast is served, starting at 7:30 AM. Fortunately four monkeys with angry eyes following me, were more scared of me when I turned around and yelled "boo!" than I was of them. Sometimes the monkeys on the deck, jumping from rooftop to rooftop, trying to enter our villa, etc., were a bit much. Breakfast was pretty good - not so much the omelettes - but didn't start until 7:30, and I could not even get a coffee before that.

Our stay at Poonsiri Resort was unforgettable! What a lovely place! The monkeys are amazing, the surrounding nature is stunning, and the views from the pool and the restaurant are spectacular.Similarly, hotel’s staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Everything was very clean and our room was comfortable, spacious, and silent. The restaurant is pretty good too. Breakfast buffet is of quality, but other dishes are also worth trying.We even had a rainy morning with monkeys visiting our terrace, which was a quite magical scene to watch right from our room.The location is also perfect: only 10 minutes away from the hustle of Ao Nang, with a free shuttle every couple of hours. That means you’re surrounded by peace and nature, but still close to everything.Highly recommended if you’re looking for a relaxing stay close to nature, with great service and all the comfort!
